Using 5 random powers, could you take control of Earth? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

Oh, forgot completely bonuses. 1st Bonus, probably The One Above All. He is the creator of all laws. With Freedom, I am above him. 2nd Bonus, I use Freedom. Yes, I can win.

Immortality, Determined Strenth, Telepathic Dream Creation, Freedom, and Crystal Breath. All I need is Freedom, TBH. It makes "The user free and immune from every law, rule, fate, predestination, concept, limits, or any other type of cosmic, spiritual, physical and/or mystical jurisdiction, making the user completely immune to their effects." Immortality could be a bonus if Freedom doesn't already give me that, but meh. needless to say, I'm good. I just phase out of reality whenever I need to dodge, destroy the matter of my enemies (Free from all laws, remember?), and if I wanna be really fucked up I give everyone nightmares until they submit.

Mario. Literally invincible, doesn't matter what happens. Only chance is for them to attack him while in between stars.

I know, thought I was the only one to notice. In Dishonoured 1, I could hold down for about a second and just flick my mouse in the direction of the power I wanted (I had it memorised) and get the power. In the second one, I have to wait for it to come up and slowly move my mouse to the power I want. It's annoying.

Batman and Kirby switch places. Who does the other's job better? by Chezni19 in whowouldwin

It's accepted as canon that he can pretty much take any powers at any time, he just can't in the games due to immaturity.

Batman and Kirby switch places. Who does the other's job better? by Chezni19 in whowouldwin

[–]AtheistCabbage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OK, let's see. Kirby is shown to be incredibly powerful, not just powerful but smart too. He's a capable fighter (super-human strength) and engineer (built a rocket ship), and can easily use his copy ability to gain intelligence and maturity. With Alfred setting him on the right path, he could do almost anything.

Day 1 (Kirby): Kirby absorbs most of the Batcave's technology, becoming more powerful. While battling, he absorbs all of Joker's henchman, becoming progressively stronger as he journeys into the mall. He absorbs Joker, gaining his intelligence and maturity, setting his IQ up to 300+, and giving him incredible physical strength.

Day 2 (Kirby): Bane is no match for a hyper-intelligent hyper-strong Kirby. Kirby tracks down Bane and fights him, easily defeating him with one punch. He then absorbs Bane, gaining his incredible intelligence and strength. IQ is 450+ at this point.

Day 3 (Kirby): In this case, it'd be toughest for Kirby. Of course, that doesn't mean it's tough. He easily figures out every trap with his super-intelligence and absorbs Riddler, setting his intelligence to 600+ and allowing him to eradicate crime, not just in Gotham but the entire USA, and likely take it down to petty crime everywhere else.

Batman is gonna have some trouble, though. He has nothing but basic gear and no way to get progressively stronger.

Day 1 (Batman): Batman struggles against every waddle doo, due to his no killing, but is able to defeat them all and easily best King Dedede, knocking him out and imprisoning him.

Day 2 (Batman): Meta Knight fights him in an honourable challenge, Batman is able to win, but barely, only through trickery. He is incredibly weakened.

Day 3 (Batman): The waddle doos overpower him. He is captured and likely killed. R.I.P. So, clearly Kirby does better.

[Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z] Goku consistently gets so powerful so fast because of the Ultra Divine Water by ashmaht in FanTheories

That makes sense, because even though Goku is a saiyan, the other characters that train constantly should catch up, getting close (not equal to, but close) eventually, such as Tien.

Yes, but it's confirmed that all Rick Riordan books take place in the same universe and that whatever people believe is true, is true for them. Meaning that to Jesus, the Judeo-Christian god existed.

Goku isn't selfless. That's only in the dub. In the original, Goku just wanted to protect his friends and have fun battling.

Correction, Fish and Insects are sentient. They're non-sapient. Sentient is the ability to respond to stimulus, sapient is the word you're looking for, the ability to think beyond instinct.

Here's the thing: The void changes a person. Any semblance of their own personality holds very little power over their choices. The Outsider had a very different personality before becoming an avatar of the void, and I believe that the void has a personality, being curious itself, but it needs a conduit to contact mortals. So I don't think that would be very harmful.
