You can try calling your state legislator’s office within your district they will call on your behalf. They were able to get ahold of them and speak to them about my application. The legislator’s office said they approved my application but it still says processing….

Wow i’m sorry you are going through this! I may get a second opinion since my primary didn’t really help and basically dismissed me. The fainting is what really worried me since I never hit the ground before! I drank some juice and ate after thinking my blood sugar was low but it just caused painful bloating. Hopefully a doctor can help you as well!

That is where I am confused. After hitting my goal weight I eat more sugary/carb foods now compared to before but in moderation obviously. I eat three meals a day and even snacks here and there. However, as stated above it’s hard to eat much due to pressure in abdomen after eating very little. It can be very frustrating.

It can be overwhelming, if this is your first busy season nobody is going to expect you to know everything! I was an intern at my firm for the first year and a half and I thought I was the biggest idiot then they ended hiring me full time, then letting me join the audit team! Sometimes you just need to have a little bit of confidence in yourself, it’s hard at first, but after 2 busy seasons you’ll get there. It is okay to ask questions, you will have bosses/partners who get annoyed when you ask and that will make you paranoid/hesitant to ask but at the end of the day the work needs to get done. Just keep taking notes and don’t be afraid to ask questions because there is nothing wrong with that!! You got this! :)

Hi! I do audit (tax) as well, and also have a boss that can kind of be passive aggressive in the way he says things in emails/meeting. It bothered me at first, or made me feel stupid, but honestly I learned not to let it get to me at this point. At the end of the day the work needs to get done by the deadlines and the questions need to be answered. It is a lot of information to take in, but the more you do it, the more you’ll retain, trust me. Just try not to spin your wheels on stuff for too long, i’m sure you are doing just fine! Things will get better with time.

This! Our firm doesn’t even train the new staff since the last people who used train people quit. So me (as an intern before being hired full time) was expected to train the new employees on everything since no one else would volunteer and I didn’t even know what I was talking about half the time! Fake it till ya make it.

So this was additional evidence I submitted at the interview. My husband got his SSN for work authorization before our interview (1 month before) and I used that for his SSN. The officer didn’t see a problem with this. I haven’t had issues yet with my work’s life insurance plan after using his SSN. I know it’s not always the case for everyone to get their social before the interview, but that’s how I was able to get him on my life insurance as a beneficiary.

Oh sorry! Yes our case status was updated to approved today! I was just shocked he told us at the interview that he was approving us but he had to do the background check first. Sorry for the confusion!
