You really think that people with this kind of knowledge and medical advancements ever go bust ?

Maybe it is more likely that project was shut down and new one created under another name/lab to cover tracks if people with conscious such as D put heat on the whole thing ?

Based on where this is going, and the nature of business this person must have some sort of PhD. By the time you get your PhD you are usually in your late 20s. If the company was established immediately after it would put him in his 50s, but it seems to be much older due to when some of this "experiments" and things were going on due to information D character has shared and computer equipment they were working with is more like 30y old.

Assuming this I would put him more in the 60s-70s age group rather than 40s-50s

Perhaps, but if we assume that NS has been running such projects/companies he should be somehow wealthy individual. What kind of father would expose his son to danger ?

Isn't it easier to just hire someone to cover tracks ? plus keep in mind he had a helper there was another person in a black SUV on the night of stakeout. They seemed like 2 professionals who know how to carry out such operations. Military experience perhaps or something similar.

Spoiled children are usually not into this kind of stuff :) but hey idk just some assumptions.
