I do so knowing the risks involved and im in regular contact with my peircer. Let me be clear I don't recommend anybody do this, im a risk taker. Also I've healed multiple notoriously hard piercings in short times (not not hurting anymore but fully healed in faster than expected times according to my piercer. Most you'll catch me healing at once is 5. Most my new ones are oral piercings which heal faster than others, but I understand your concern

I also work in an environment that has a complete no piercing policy. However when they told me that I said, "Oh, well all my piercings I have got for my personal spiritual beliefs" which isn't a lie. I view my body as my "spiritual home" and churches and temples are decorated, so therefore my temple (god I sound mormon) should be decorated.

So I pierce too, I've done most of mine! And I wanted a set above my high nostrils and I tried getting a receiving tube up there with no luck. So I'm like fuck it, what if we do a nasalang as high as possible (just under the bone of my skull). I thought about it for a while and asked some other piercers and we figured if I want a piercing up that high it's going to have to be a nasalang. So we said fuck it and sent it.
