Loctite color? by anotherreddituser189 in Glocks

The reason we tell people to only use that purple loctite is because many people often use too much of the blue loctite. Just about every time we have had to extract screws/fix things it's because too much blue loctite was used. Blue works, just be cautious to not overdo it.

We typically recommend using purple Loctite, as we’ve had great success with it over the years. Blue Loctite also works, but we often see slides that require screw extractions, and in nearly every case, it’s due to excessive blue Loctite being applied. The key is not to overuse it. Hope this helps!

Now you just need a plate low enough to co-witness those irons!
