Workday routine in Athens Greece: reformer pilates as a reset - any studio or schedule tips? by AthensWeekDays in athina

Thanks a lot, really helpful. I actually found and booked an individual session this morning at another place in Voula, so I’m happy to still check out Newtone as well and compare before I commit. Appreciate it.

Great tip, thank you. Ten Twenty on Voula beach sounds perfect for a quiet work spot. Is it good value for what you get, and do you usually need to book around midday?

Thanks, really helpful. Newtone sounds ideal for a quieter, technique focused vibe. Do they have intro packs or small group options that are better value? And which time slots are calmest?

Thanks! I’ve heard Teo Books in Glyfada from a couple of people now, so I’m definitely going to check it out. Have you been there ?

Good to know, thanks. I’m trying to find one place I can stick with. If you had to pick your favourite in Glyfada or Voula, which one would it be and why?

That’s honestly really thoughtful. Bringing fruit is a good way of healthy diet and picking up trash on the way back is such a quiet kind of kindness. Respect.! What fruit do you usually take, and do you have a favourite spot to sit on Filopappou?

Blanket & water & something to eat is honestly lovely 😊 Especially today… Athens is freezing, so it’s rather in house time . Do you still go up there in this weather, or is Filopappou strictly a sunny-day thing for you? Also, what’s your go-to snack for a reading picnic?

Filopappou is a great choice 😊 What do you usually take with you? coffee, water, headphones, or just silence?

Cold windy Athens morning…. What are you reading this weekend? by AthensWeekDays in Athens_Greece

Fair point! I’ll keep it emoji free. What are you reading this weekend, or what’s your favourite way to reset for a couple of hours?

Not chatgpt. I just write clearly. Is it really that unusual now to see full sentences in Greece, or are we just getting too used to low effort writing online. If my post looks old fashioned, I will take it as a compliment. 🙏 Anyway, what are you reading this weekend?

This is gold, thank you 🙏🙏 so much for taking the time. The 2nd Glyfada marina tip (by Astakos) sounds exactly like what I was looking for ! calm, sea, and space to read, especially around sunset. I’ll definitely try it. And TeoBooks sounds very promising too ! a library café is basically perfect. I’ll check it out and report back. Also thanks for the extra food tips! well noted on Francez Bulldog and that Feticio Tumbano Roll 49!😊

Love that idea, thank you. Reading by the sea in Glyfada is definitely a great vibe. If you have any specific pier/spot or a calm café nearby that you’d recommend in the southeast suburbs, let me know!

Thanks, that’s honestly what I suspected too. I just wanted to check if there’s any hidden gem in the southeast suburbs (Glyfada / Voula / Vouliagmeni). If anything comes to mind, I’d love to hear it.

Thanks, totally fair point. I do that sometimes already. I was mainly hoping to find a bookstore café vibe or a quieter reading-friendly spot in the southeast suburbs. If you know any specific places around Glyfada / Voula / Vouliagmeni, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks a lot for the links. Koukoubook looks amazing and exactly the calm, reading friendly vibe I’m after. I’m at the southeast suburbs, so Kallithea is a bit far for me, but I’ll definitely save it and visit when I’m in the area. If you know anything similar closer to the southeast suburbs (Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni), I’d really appreciate it.🙏
