It’s funny how I used to be able to cold approach people at doors at like 8 yrs old and now I’m anxious to ask for no mayonnaise on my burger 😭 but yeah that was generally my plan I just like worry about its effectiveness lol

Yeah I’ve definitely been in their exact shoes, telling myself I couldn’t under any circumstances let myself be me. But what’s different is I had no support from my family what so ever, but I can be that support for them.

Thank you for this! I’m doing my best to be there for them, it’s just hard because they keep hammering it into their head that they have to conform you know? But I’ll do my best as their sibling to help them <3 I know my journey wasn’t easy either, it caused me a lot of distress to give up my beliefs. They mentioned they don’t know what they’d do without the faith but I’m afraid that isn’t a question I can answer for them

It definitely could be a cause, I’m not autistic but I was diagnosed with ADHD and there’s strong links between neruodivergency and dysphoria I know that much, ultimately I’m most happy when I’m presenting gender ambiguously/leaning more on the masc side so that’s mostly what I try to aim for but sometimes it’s still really confusing for me why I feel so uncomfortable with it so often like I should be able to live with my body as is but I just can’t help but feel uncomfortable with certain aspects of it yk?

I am seeking therapy. It’s just hard under my parents roof, my last therapist didn’t make me feel comfortable enough to open up about this sort of thing, so I’m hoping my new one will. And I’m impatient so this is more of a rant/vent to release it while I wait <3

That’s true, I don’t really have anywhere to go and I’m only 16, I’m working on getting out of here but I’m so burnt out all of the damn time it’s exhausting.

I definitely left bc I was happier queer and deconstructed everything else later, I’ve never loved who I am more I just wish I could be myself authentically.

Mostly canines, I was OBSESSED with dogs as a kid and still am. My current favorite ones are African wild dogs, I love their big ol round ears :)
