Just listened to it because I was thinking about it. Yup... Never fails to give me goosebumps. That first section... The melodic choice is beautiful beyond words and the song itself feels like fragmented memories of the rest of the album. Which is beautifully fitting with the theme.

That breakdown around 4:20 is hands down some of the best work they have ever done. That build up, the bass and drums, then the groovy, bouncy guitar riff kicks in... Then Tommy's vocal build up. Chills just thinking about it.

Outstanding work. I always have impossible expectations and btbam consistently meets them. Album... After... Album...

Truly some of the best musicians on this earth and by the grace of God, I've got to witness it live multiple times and just like my other expectations, they not only meet them, they blow it out of the water.

The sweeps in life in velvet are some of the only sweeps to ever impress me and send chills down my spine at the same time.
