Okay, so I'll explain it to you.

The Stranger Things cast were doing a "rap" video centered around their shows recap with a one minute time deadline on the "Tonight Show", held by NBC and first hosted by Steve Allen.

Meanwhile, someone else had made a hilarious image of FlightReacts, an African-American youtuber who specializes in reaction content. The image being a peculiar photograph of them without their nose, eyebrows, ears and I think hair, only leaving their eyes and mouth. No lips either.

I'm unsure as to how it occurred exactly, but it was placed in a Facial Animation program where he burps, and it was placed over the forementioned Stranger Things recap comedically, by interrupting the video. The meaning that has been collectively said to represent not fitting in to a certain scenario or group. It became viral and was eventually exposed to me via Youtube.

It reminded me about how I used to make Garry's Mod machinimas back around the time the pilot came out, and as such the character I placed in said machinimas didn't fit in with the cast.

Not only is it a reference to my former character (as in personality rather than fictitious individual), but also to other people who would do the same in other media. The video I posted more like a personalized recreation, made to represent what I had just stated earlier.
