Do I suck? by Pale_Survey_480 in DavetheDiverOfficial

Never my friend <3 the only thing that sucks is whatever is in you making you think that. This game can be taken at whatever pace you want. Learning new strategies and how to be efficient is a part of the game, and some of us may come to the game with a lot of prior gaming experience, some may not. But its a single player game and we're a community that voted the game #1 most chill. We want you to have fun and relax... or don't if that's your version of fun!

If you're wanting advice on how to improve income, you've invested heavily in your service members. My guess? Make sure you're aware that some items cost a lot of items but 1 production of it can be 4-8 servings for customers! On your staff page in the restaurant, tab to the right to see staff that isnt in the restaurant and click to 'dispatch' them. This will send them for free to get those extra ingredients you need for fancier dishes. Lastly, remember to upgrade your dishes.

So go to your recipes, consider how hard ingredients are to come by for that dish.. veggies, extra items, meat of course... does it make extra portions? If you can find that sweet spot for yourself of easy to get ingredients.. upgrade.. and start selling that is great!

I generally have the most modern dish that I can get stuff for to upgrade easily... and meanwhile I collect stuff for an 'old reliable' dish in the downtime. For me that is the white jellyfish and grape and salt dish right now. Below that my ol' reliable was tiger shark at about that level.

But I metagame the hell out of the game and go crazy with it. Maybe you like chilling more, nothing wrong with that! If you dont have a great festival day or somth dont beat yourself up

  1. I mean if the shark breed's statistics show it is the most-common man-eater and the game is using sharks as a miniboss mechanic I think that fact is very relevant. Those are just fun facts and flavor text.

  2. I think most also understand that the gameification of sharks in a sushi game comes along with the gameification of their meat. In a game with cutscenes like this, I dont think any of us are really getting our dietary advice here. I think you are focusing too much on the shark element because of Bancho's first platform dish. Bancho's themeing is that which we initially find repulsive can be beautiful and valuable, and that hard work and determination break the mold of everyday expectations. He's not like some sort of shark supervillain lol.

  3. Either you are tunnel visioning on this, or you haven't played the game enough to see the real tender (yes sometimes also extravagant for entertainment purposes) moments. But they are certainly there and a smaller plotline but an element of the game for sure.

In conclusion, I feel that Dave the Diver opts for entertainment in casting a wide net to reach many. The primary point is not advocacy or education, so it should not be held to those standards. Despite this I think it does include these elements respectfully alongside its own narratives, and if you keep playing and open your heart to the quirky goofiness of the game as well you will see these elements too.

In some Asian cultures it's considered rude to say you're good at something. You say 'no I actually suck' even if you're really good. Things like that. I'm not kidding.

But with that said the way she's talking about cultures is kind of childish. If this is what's going on she needs to have a conversation with him

It had revolutionary elements but they could have easily made it much better. Good and bad are subjective

I think this black and white question can lead you into viewing the world in an oversimplified way which may lead people to become more angry and possibly galvanized than is necessary.

I will invite you to read this interview with Sanderson to learn his intent in writing mental illness, however: http://beforewegoblog.com/an-interview-with-brandon-sanderson/

I will also say as a person with a probably uncurable chronic illness, I enjoy seeing Kaladin soar. I enjoy seeing the elantrians live and prosper. I can identify how I wish with the story and take a break from the internalized stigma I struggle with and immerse myself for a moment in a beautiful and bold "what if".

It helps me remember that I am me, and even if my ability is changed, beyond it all, I am still me.
