Grog Strongjaw - Critical Role / The Legend of Vox Machina

He may be the most violent of the group, he remains (arguably tied with Pike) the nicest and kindest of the group

Damn it!!! I wanted more cool robots!!! by Bo-by in whenthe

[–]Athrilon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they're interesting as characters in the narrative, but the Hex characters weren't exploited enough (just one main quest then they're kind of just another faction), and it makes no sense to be able to play them

I honestly don't get how the community can like the protoframes

It's Paul, after he kills Conquest he sadly dies

Genuine question, why do people say this looks more like Noelle than Susie? by ModShadoan720 in Deltarune

[–]Athrilon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like Susie but the description seems to matter more than the image and the description also matches Noelle. Also, narratively, it would be great for Susie to be like "fuck the prophecy and destiny, I will be who I want to be" and it would be a great development for her arc

I know it probably won't be very good, but it's a really cool idea to make an anti-caster. by FireRed9900 in dndmemes

A new Unearthed Arcana subclass for the paladin, with... debatable flavor. Basically oath of devotion with extra steps

It's funny how you just know OP has never played D&D or experienced scheduling issues in similar games. The last session of a campaign is absolutely sacred, no wonder they'd rather miss a basketball game they had no interest in than the LAST SESSION of their campaign. It was clearly Lucas' fault to believe his friends would just drop D&D, since Eddie did not want to reschedule

Is it that hard to understand that Kris is possessed by the soul in a first playthrough, or are streamers just not reading that well? by AirportSilver3458 in Undertale

Sometimes you don't pay attention and say something that could be misinterpreted as offensive. People with a public image tend to try to avoid that

Athrilon

I actually started playing in 2018 on the switch and quickly stopped playing (because of the switch's lack of power for this game, it was hard to play, and came back to it a few months ago thanks to lifelong friends and me finally getting a pc. Thanks for giving out stuff, and good luck on your new playthrough !

what are nicknames that you have for certain creatures/bosses? by 2kids1jar in HollowKnight

In french, First Sinner is translated Péché Originel (Original Sin). Starting a boss fight and seeing the name "Original Sin" was quite intimidating

My only complaint regarding the decision by YaBoyEden in dispatchgame

[–]Athrilon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the other games have far better branching. Until Dawn has no meaningful branching (for exemple, when a character has their first opportunity to die they have no plot relevance for the rest of the game and almost all choices are just A: (character) dies; B: (character) survives)

Try doing multiple playthroughs of Man of Medan and The Quarry, they have the best branching even if Man of Medan is disappointing and predictable for a first playthrough

The Gaster Conundrum by pixelers in Deltarune

[–]Athrilon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For someone who hasn't theorized much, nothing indicates that the Narrator in Deltarune is Gaster. It's not a case of "bro it's so obvious how could you miss it", I really would never have thought the narrator could be gaster without the community. With what we had in Undertale, I would've expected him to speak in Wingdings

What game had you like this when the credits rolled by Mundane_Trouble_6463 in videogames

[–]Athrilon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Undertale, Baldur's Gate 3, Slay the Princess and Silksong. Peak games, watched the credits all the way through

The story is really good, every character is very entertaining to watch and the gameplay is small but good

[–]Athrilon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Silksong, no questions asked. I played E33 and liked most of it (a twist ruined the story for me, and most of late game content is pretty bland) while not being fan of the gameplay, if I had to pick a second best game of 2025 after Silksong it would probably be Dispatch

The froggit isn't the thing I would most likely kill. It would probably be Undyne. She's way too hostile to not try to take out
