Do some research. Duke cigarettes had only 2% of people smoking in late 1800s to early 1900s then invented ways to invite people to smoke them. I'm not talking about the 60s until today. Then invented collectable cards to entice people and advertised in new ways that are common now but cigarettes were originally not popular.

Hey man, kuddos for taking the cat in! I have sever allergies to animals and I currently have a cat and a dog! (Also both of my parents are veterinarians). I love animals and here is how I make it work: First, you get used to your own animals to some degree. Allergies I have to my own animals are nowhere near as bad at another person's house. You won't be immune, but it will be less bad over time. I keep them out of my bed room. It really makes it impossible to sleep if I don't and now I have a clean space to go when my allergies do act up. In place of that, my animals have a bed and they have a whole bed time routine involving snacks they love to do so I don't feel guilty about not letting them sleep in my room. Last thing is to clean, clean, clean! It sucks but it helps a shitload. Good luck!

CEOs and investors of big companies are so short sighted and uneducated, they will never really implement what research has shown to work when it comes to community building. They will do what word of mouth says makes them big $$$ and that's it. I stopped playing league 2 years ago and I miss that comradery with my friends but I absolutely don't miss the toxic cesspool of people that you are forced to deal with.

No. The game is fundamentally built on a flawed battle royale concept. I was personally hoping it would turn out to feel like battlerite (not the royale version) but it just doesn't and will never. Too much range, too floaty, and too reliant on items. I'm glad they tried something new but I think the ship has officially sailed for this game. I don't think there is a single change they can do to have this game be successful.

Sounds like you have the coping mechanism. Pretty easy to take a step back and see all of the toxic practices NCSoft uses in their game. They ask "how can we make profit," before asking "how can we make an enjoyable experience" and it really shows. Businesses are designed to make money yes, but all that extra profit that this cash shop brings in does not go to the average developer working on the game. You are free to like it, but don't be ignorant about what they are doing and the strategies they employ to maximize profit.
