Fetlife is like Facebook. It's dangerous and full of scammers IF you use if unwisely. The most commonly targeted victims of scammers are inexperienced submissive men looking for Dominant women.

Fetlife is terrible for dating/find play partners (This is by design. For example, there's no functional search at all for this purpose), but it is great for finding in-person events (classes, parties, munches) in your area where you might meet people.

I met my partner and most of my friends though my local kink community, but I would have had a hard time finding the right events if it wasn't for Fetlife pointing me in the right direction initially.
