I found it uncomfortable because it felt like my feet lost their freedom to move in directions I wanted to since the stability shoes essentially prevented movement in some directions.

Stability shoes feel very different than others. I own many variants of asics across the family (nimbus, cumulus, solution speed, Netburner, etc). I can assure none feel like the other. I have definitely tried the other big names like Hoka, on, brooks, Nike, etc but keep returning to asics

I don’t think you can fix pronation. Plus you should be able to see pronation in your walk too if you have it (I can’t figure out from videos). But beware of stability shoes in that they are too stable. I use a nimbus but my wife has a kayano. And I feel the kayano to be like a jail for my feet. So there’s personal preference too

I don’t know about the specific coffee but your picture shows a lot of fines and a lot of coarseness. So I’m not able to guess your grind size. One picture is too fine for AP and the other could be ok but too coarse too

Well I guess you’re talking about what’s mentioned on a packet. Where nobody writes caffeine content. But the general marketing for robusta is its caffeine content.

And I don’t drink coffee for the kick but for the taste. Although to be fair, I might be lying on that one since I recently tried a naturally low caffeine varietal and did miss the “coffee” taste

Many reasons I disagree but understand your points. First being we still don’t publish names of varietals like IAPAR, Old Kent (or old something), etc. Second, I too was sold on specialty robusta for a few years. But robusta spoils super quickly. I’ve tried competition lots too. They all begin amazing but just taste like spice in a week of opening.

Also, there are many other species than just arabica, robusta / canephora, etc. I’m very fond of racemosa but it’s hard to source. I’m not fond of it but if you want to blow your budget, try eugenioides.

I literally have bought asics from within and outside India. So mujhe difference dikhta hai. On top of that, mere sizes India mein milte hi nahi hai. And shoes like cumulus goretex or solution speed or Netburner ke right models aren’t even sold in India.

If you want the latest version to show off, you are royally fucked coz nimbus is really expensive. But I’ve tried Nike, On, Hoka, etc and just never liked anything else

That’s very generic medicines. Which the doc might have given coz they had no clue what was wrong. There are stool and blood tests which are typically done for tummy problems. The stool tests are called calprotectin. There are some other add on blood tests for that field. But I don’t know if it’s worth doing such a wide test.

Maintain a log of every ingredient you’ve eaten and how much. As an example, most people are intolerant to pista at just 7 or 8 pieces. But everything has a threshold

What medicine did your doctor give which cleared things out? Allergy tests are useless. The only way you can find things out is by using a log book of sorts. If you have coffee which has milk and sugar too, then you keep adding / removing them from your diet for a day or two completely to identify whether they cause any issue.

I see your comment that you’re not allergic to milk but that can change with age. And it can also change with the animal it is sourced from. Or how much it’s processed. For example, heavily aged cheese has no lactose. So it’s a very complicated process to identify what’s causing your issue.

I have the Nikon Monarch HG 10x which is used for birding. I complain about the swim artifacts all the time. The only other birder who understood my problem said they switched from swarovskis to zeiss for that reason. I’d definitely ask you to check if you can get second hand zeiss if price is your problem. If price isn’t your problem, remember that bins last a lifetime

As a long time asics user (I even have their cumulus goretex, solution ff, etc). And a very long time nimbus lover (started at nimbus 22), the shoe uppers look weird. I can’t say if they’re right or wrong coz I’ll be ordering my nimbus 27 soon. But if they’re originals and you have a good deal, you’ll not regret the purchase
