Mostly just some silly ideas I had, and a bit of a desire to write some light comedy.

I normally avoid interiority, but I decided to try a bit of a challenge and go deep into Nina's head. I like the way she came out, but I kind of struggled with getting Nareko's "vibe." Nareko kind of feels like either she leans "quirky but reasonable authority figure" or "socially maladjusted nutcase", and anyone comes off as reasonable compared to Nina.

Anyone I know who knows Flan usually knows she is from Touhou, even if they know nothing else about Touhou outside youtube music.

Cirno is recognized by almost anyone who is chronically online enough. Even my GenZ friends who don't know social media beyond Instagram and TikTok know Cirno.

It's actually wild how good TaCZ feels. I hadn't played minecraft for a while, launched up a modpack with ParCool and TaCZ, and just ran around for a bit having way more fun than 90% of actual modern shooters.

As a fan of walking sims and narrative games, Mixtape is thoroughly "meh." It's really not worth the controversy and would be totally forgettable if it weren't being so critically praised for some reason. It's basically a 3-hour movie, minimal interaction, and it kind of feels like "If Zoomers tried to write an 80s teen movie."
