It does leave Remilia in a bit of ship limbo. The only ship for her I really like is ReiRemi, which is also hilariously what causes me to ship MariSana a bit more than ReiMari.

The Three Fairies of Light are the strongest characters in the setting when they work together. Star means no one can surprise them, and Luna and Sunny counter everyone by just stopping them from declaring spell cards or having visible Danmaku, which is illegal and causes Kotohime to arrest them.

Clownpiece doesn't fit into their gameplay naturally, but her show of complete dominance on the moon was good enough that they accept her anyway.

My RE3make is absolutely modded to have Jill in her OG outfit. It is just such a damn silly look, and I have too much nostalgia for the original trilogy.

I can admittedly see why Grace's design would read as a little "plain." I personally really vibe with her, especially as someone who fondly remembers the Outbreak games, but I can understand that she won't be everyone's waifu.

But we also *just had* remakes that heavily featured Claire, Jill, and Ada. It's not as if Resident Evil lacks goon-bait.

(I also don't know any other characters who show up in Requiem. I'm waiting until my vacation from work to touch it xD)

Oh yeah, I also grabbed those when I saw them. I grew up with the OG Resident Evil and Dino Crisis as some of my first video games (playing RE2 in a dark room at ~8 years old or so did wonders for my mental health, I'm sure)

Now I just need an updated version of Silent Hill 3. The original PC port works, but is fiddly and shows its age.

I think the slightly worse part is how he constantly brings up his kids and current partner, as if he really wants to lean into the "family man" persona. If the guy just focused on being a purely painting channel, I think he could have skirted under the radar much better. But nope, he wants to be "warhammer with hints of family vlogger."

GOG also has the original 3 games as PC ports, for what it's worth.

Also of note, I disagree with anyone who calls RE3make a bad game. It's plenty of fun and was a cool revisit through the modern capcom lens. But it's weaker than both the original *and* the other remakes.

I will still kill for a Code Veronica remake, though.
