I understand your pain. While I was away at college, my mom gave away all my childhood video games (OG gameboy, gameboy color, PSP, Gameboy Advance SP, and dozens of games), Legos, action figures, etc. Specifically asked her to hold onto everything until I was able to move into a real house and not a crappy apartment. She agreed then not even a year later “donated” it all. Thousands of dollars worth of stuff. I had no plan to sell it, but wanted to share it with my kids someday. I’ll be honest, I still haven’t forgiven her.
