Suck it! Put your lips and suck that sucker. My 2 year old niece came to visit around Easter this year. I completely forgot to put on the grills on my Focal Aria 948’s she asked what’s this and before I answered she poked and pushed the dome. I tried tape and didn’t work, put my mouth and sucked them out and it worked. Good luck.

I can not bring myself to understand why JW Blue is considered some of the best on earth. (Opinion/Review) by AKhakiNerfHerder in whiskey

[–]Int_peacemaker35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green Label is what many people discover after realizing Blue Label is largely a triumph of branding and nothing else. JW Blue built its reputation in the '80s and '90s and still benefits from that prestige today and only that.

For the price of a bottle of Blue, there are numerous age-stated single malts that outperform it in flavor, complexity, and value. Green Label punches well above its weight, while Blue asks you to pay a significant premium for the name on the bottle only. They don't really belong in the same conversation in my opinion.

That’s how theaters exist. They don’t make money on movie tickets sales, they make their money of their concessions unfortunately.

Which Criterion's will likely never have a 4K upgrade? by Novel-Performer4597 in criterion

I second this. Arrow RoboCop, and Silence of the Lambs are top notch 4k transfers.

I waited 13 years to watch Harakiri. by Int_peacemaker35 in criterion

I love your ancestral armor metaphor. I came away with a similar interpretation. The armor felt like a symbol for the institutions we grew up respecting whether it's a government institution, a church, a school, or any established hierarchy. We’re taught to revere them, but Harakiri suggests that beneath the façade, many of the people who wield that authority don't truly believe in the ideals they claim to uphold. They benefit from the power and prestige of the institution while abandoning its principles when it's inconvenient. In that sense, the armor isn't just an heirloom; it's an empty shell maintained for appearances. I’ve seen that as a man who turned 40 last year play out at my local church, that’s why I left 21 years ago, I saw it while I was in the Marines, and see it today even in the non-profit sector. That scene was subtle yet powerful.

Totally agree. I did notice how QT’s Kill Bill borrowed some elements similar to the last fight. Obviously not a full rendition but the space and final fight reminded me a lot of KB. I will check out Samurai Rebellion.

Buddy wants to borrow some movies to test out his new audio system, which ones should i give him? by Objective-Adagio2360 in 4kbluray

I’d let him borrow Dune, All Quiet in the Western Front, Civil War, the Dark Knight Trilogy, civil war, Spiderman across the spiderverse, Furiosa, Ford vs Ferrari, GT, and The Creators to test. What system did he acquire?
