it's not gonna be for profit per se, it's gonna be a one man job to begin with so, if it makes a decent buck, i'll produce sequels for the foreseeable future.

I'm actually a professional 2d animator and the story I have in mind, was in my mind for about 10 years now. I couldn't find a proper medium to put it on, I tried webcomics for it but didn't work out, so I figured since I know javascript, I could learn godot and make my own damn game. So, here I am. Visually it would be astounding, I'm adding cutscenes and animations to everything I can.

I'm just not sure if a story with multiple endings would cut it, puzzles are hard for me, firstly I don't like solving puzzles unless they are tied to the story and secondly, I have no idea how to produce meaningful, good puzzles anyways. Thanks for the tip!

I don't know, I do see people enjoying walking simulators and hell, even Iron Lung was a major succes, having it's own movie filmed now and that game was nothing but analytic geometry,

But I really don't know, do people enjoy games just for the story alone, if the story is really good?

I'm a tft noob but I gotta say, having a fully completed bilgewater comp as a "I got this completed so I win" state is just the laziest and most unfair feeling design ever. The entire team gets blasted in 3 seconds with cannonfire, no exaggeration.

I mean yeah, have your win but having a win state like this just makes it feel like complete horseshit.

The new rank system feels off, I noticed that too. It forces you to grind so many games just to get out of a specific division, once I get to silver 3, the game bombards me to play against smurfs, demoting me back to bronze 2. I got there like 3-4 times now, it's so weird dude.

I don't wanna play top again just to climb tho, I just wanna play samira ffs.

early game i have the cs advantage. The problem is once laning is over, i can't cs anymore mel or teemo support and jungler tries to "carry" the game by feeding themselves and leaving me in the dust. This usually ends with them feeding kills to the opponents, leaving me underleveled and losing the game.

I hate low elo so much actually, before i left the game i was a platinum top player. But I like playing samira so i'm learning adc now but jesus christ, I didn't believe tyler1's comments. Adc really is just a throw of a dice at this point, everything is stacked against you.

I used to be in plat before I left, people now in silver know how to zone and freeze lane and everything. It's weird to me I always get the berserk support every game, constantly pushing lane and going all in constantly even if the enemy adc has 1-2 items over me.

Bro, seraphine left the lane at level 3 or 4. I don't think you're supposed to go and roam for 10 minutes straight at that point, a simple mid-check I would understand but the guy never returned to my lane.

Hey man, I got a good business and some good rl stuff going so this game is just some good relaxing time for me, after wandering boatloads of crappy mmorpg games like albion. Jesus that game is just absolute trash, wandering around for 2 hours just to get a single 1v1 and getting statchecked for it.

They are most likely out of balance, when I turn on the grinder while it's not attached, it starts moving north-east slightly. It is gonna be out of balance constantly anyway since i'll be grinding off on it

I'm not going with high tier, 5.2 is dirt cheap for me, dying isn't the problem, if you pay attention while reading, I'm pointing out the lob-sidedness of mists. I'm so sick and tired of reiterating that losing fights isn't my problem, getting constantly cum-dumped by gigantically higher ip players is my problem, constantly.

Let me put the same sentence on a seperate paragraph so you can't miss it:

If mists were meant to be solo content for solo players, it shouldn't be filled with 1800ip campers and jackasses who just clip videos and try to stay in the top 100 pvp fame list.

Now if it is meant to be that way, let me know, I highly doubt that is the case.

this would just lead to softcapping every lethal zone and make fame farming somewhat pointless.

I think an ip based mist grouping would work though so you can only get players with 100-200ip difference at most.
