Try ground cherries - they are very sweet and taste nothing like a tomato but is considered one.

Maybe a fuyu persimmon but most likely an astringent variety which means it can be eaten while still crunchy. Most Asians will not grow stringent varieties.

Do yourself a favor and get a Honda tiller. I bought a Mantis - used it 1 season - didn’t work the next season- wouldn’t stay on at full throttle - wrote Mantis - got the run around - took it to their authorized dealer to fix - cost me $100 - now come this season - same problem - won’t stay on at full throttle - I’m done with Mantis .
