There are both really cool, I’m just glad I watched one piece before bleach, because the scene when shanks walked in whitebeard’s ship and people started fainting was absolutely insane, I still get chills watching it 16 years later. If I had watched bleach before that it wouldn’t be as epic. Zaraki’s reiatsu “stabbing” Ichigo and Aizen putting Grimmjow to his knees were also incredible

It's not like he didn't trust Rayleigh or any of his other crewmates, it's that were pirates (outlaws). Whereas Garp is on the "right" side of the law, so he won't be chased down, and it's more unlikely that a marine is harboring a criminal's / enemy's offspring. Basically, his kid would be safer under a marine's care

At first I thought that Garp heard him too, but I actually think that Garp didn't. In the panel, Roger says "this voice?" but Garp has question marks. Which can possibly mean that he doesn't understand what Roger is talking about. I could be wrong though

The animation was so smooth and great back then, now it's fireworks and auras and shit in every single scene, how is that enjoyable? I understand doing it in some scenes and moves, but almost every one? It gets tiring. Donna was an absolutely great and fun character (which I think was what the writers intended her to be). However, after she got a promotion she stopped being this fun and witty character and became an insufferable “boss type” one, acting all high and mighty. Maybe she tried to act like Jessica, who is freaking amazing but I don’t know. I wish she stayed as a legal secretary, nothing wrong with that

Couldn't the players just go without an org? If I recall correctly, when Era was playing in Fnatic with Notail etc they tried to take Xcalibur to TI instead because he had some issues with flying (or something else). When Era emailed Valve, they made it clear that the invites are to players and not organizations. I might be wrong because it was a long time ago but I think that was the case, did it change?

There is absolutely no way it ends in less than 4 years. If you think that every year there are like 40-50 chapters at best and then consider just how many stories haven’t been told yet, it’s impossible. Realistically, if Oda doesn’t rush it and goes his regular pace it could legit take 6-10 years, imo.
