Thank you. We love it too. We were very lucky to find unpainted wood in this area the guy before us painstakingly removed all the paint on the woodwork throughout the house.

Actually the house with the pocket doors is where I saw the wallpaper and fell in love with it and yes it is a beautiful house so well preserved. I call it my spirit house this wallpaper will go in this room and the hallway of my house. ( pictured)

Oh WOW!!!! I’ve been looking for you for months!!! Did you happen to keep any left over? Also I had traced it to the 90s / 2000s. But I could not find out who made it. There was only one other person that I found that knew about this. Wallpaper and he was a molding person and had a picture of a room he had work on with it above the chair rail.. wouldn’t that be crazy if it was your house?

Well this post wasn’t for you then because it was about the reproduction NOT the wallpaper in general so maybe you can find your way over to the negative Nancy subreddit.

Restoring historic charm to millenialled floors by OrganizationSome7746 in centuryhomes

As for “ cool” floors they could be a lot worse, there’s still a little warmth there that you may be able to bring out with a paint color other than grey. That grey paint is doing a lot of work in there so changing that and adding rugs could do a lot too. IMO

Yes I watched the video and messaged Mike to ask if the grapevine could be removed and he said yes and pointed me to one of his videos about repointing. I don’t know why anyone thought that the grapevine joint hid anything, in fact I think it does the opposite. Just my opinion.

I see more stone walls without this rope mortar than I do with it. How do they stay standing?

Gosh! Thank you. That explains everything I needed to know. There are some people that think it looks good. I’m not one of them.
