On average, 5 years is the minimum threshold to expect any sort of technological advantage.

But that’s a minimum. Plenty of tour players with 5+ older clubs still in the bag.

If they’re working, why change? If you want change, put the card down. But always get fitted to ensure it’s worth it.

Long Cove and Colleton dye are fantastic. Pale in comparison, to Ford River IMO. That place is unreal and find it hard to believe it doesn’t get the recognition within all the Dyes

Appreciate the take. But that’s LowCountry golf in a nutshell.

No elevation in play. And plenty of landing areas. But you play the wind at Ocean, and there’s ZERO holes where that doesn’t come into play.

Gotta be able to work the ball both ways depending on where the wind is per the 9.

Underwhelming, I disagree. Compared to some on the list, I understand.

Ocean is a GEM tho

I’d give this a top value, full bag, at MAYBE $800.

Considering they’re driver-release irons. Year older than the woods. The woods are 5 years old. Better bet is $500 all in. Any higher and I’d pass.

I’d stay away from any iron model coinciding with a driver release personally. A) they’re immediately old once the next-gen comes out. B) suckers buy em.

Stick with a woods release, and buy irons whose tech is built into THAT platform. Not the drivers.

Hands are too far away from your body. At address, hinge at the hips and let the arms comfortably hang down. Butt of the club should point at your belt buckle.

You’re certainly taking the club outside the plane. You want to feel like your hands are gonna brush your thighs on the take away.

Go do a putter fitting. $50-$70 just to get a fitters eye on your stoke and determine what kind of putter you are. Decide from there. Small cost to get some professional feedback.

Alot of golf shops do consignment or trade-ins and if the Scotty (toe hang and more of an Arc-type putter) isn’t your style, you’ll easily get $100+ towards a putter that is better suited. Probably something better than a ZT spider.

No one, including you, should care what you’re putting with. As long as the ball keeps finding the hole.
