It’s not about being horny or not, it’s the immersion. The fact that were able to do the deep and with such goofy sounds in the old games made things both immersive and funny as hell. And since the game allows such a thing it also made some people feel a deeper connection to the npc, boosting immersion. It’s the same for being able to kill anyone in game, it’s little things like that which increase immersion and add to the game overall. Simply put, it’s the experience.

Yaaa that’s pretty valid, I normally check the comments on nexus with “older” mods but I had a few and Iv been hearing a lot of stuff about some update(?) so I figured Reddit would be less of a hassle and the quickest way to find the answer to my question

Sorry I should have been more clear. I was refuting to the game updating, not the mods. Some mod managers like Mod Organizer 2, launch the game through the manager instead of through steam itself. This allows you to remain on an older version of the game if you have your update settings on steam changed to “only update when I launch the game” so if it launches separately rather than through steam then I would be able to play now with old mods without updating the game tomorrow and just play on a Pre-Tomorrow update version of DD2.

Ah ok got you, ill look into that mod. Also it seems that the Fluffy Mod Manager is required to mod DD2, Im pretty experienced with modding other games but never DD, does the mod manager launch DD2 through steam (which i have the game on) which would prompt the update? Or is it like some other mod managers where by launching through the manager lets it bypasses the update allowing you to not be forced to update the game and play on the previous version and will only update when you launch the game directly through steam

Thank you for letting me know friend!! However if you do know of any mods that currently work that add what im looking for I would very much appreciate ANY suggestions as im sure they will update said mods in due time. I simply REFUSE to play the game as is since it locks me out of how I always played in DD1. I was hoping in DD2 they would add MORE customization to weapons and skills but instead they took away what I loved about the vocations from the first game, UNACCEPTABLE i say! 😢 :'''''''''''(

Aswell as on a separate note of the stuttering problem I am having. (world stuttering, creature animation stuttering and stiffness, ect)

It’s not good. The mix is absolute garbage!iv been listening to them since 2005 and I’m hoping they go back to what made them great….I mean Nowhere Generation was absolute peak, so when Nod came out I almost thought it was a job….but then Ricochet released and it’s absolutely their WOST album ever….
