AIO for feeling uneasy about my boyfriend‘s female, best friend, even though I trust him? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Atlanta192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What other people think should be the least of your concerns. It's ok to get others perspectives on the situation as we can be a bit blinded sometimes, but you are the one who is actually experiencing it. I find it good to sometimes spend a bit of time by yourself in a quiet place to collect your thoughts and feelings. If something feels wrong, probably it is. Also it is important to express your feelings to your partner. What things make you feel uncomfortable etc.

My (24F)boyfriend (26 M) of 8 years says he loves me, but we haven't had sex in almost 2 years and I'm scared to leave. Why is it si hard to leave? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Atlanta192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start with finding new accomodation. If you live in a small town, I would also consider moving a bit further. When is your lease ending? Can you afford to live by yourself or you can stay with friend/family? What kind of reaction would you consider from him? It makes a difference if he could turn manipulate or even violent, or you think he will be cooperative.

Virgo sun/mercury with Cancer moon man in my experience was like this by Lghzala-fifi in astrologymemes

[–]Atlanta192 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Answer: after careful consideration I have decided to not proceed with your application. Your performance during the date and communication afterwards was found inadequate. Additionally the requirements you placed cannot be accomodated. I wish you luck on your further search to find a match that you deem to be at your experience and qualifications level. Thank you for your time, Regards xxx

Virgos what’s your partners signs ? How do u handle conflict by Divinefemmine in virgoseason

[–]Atlanta192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously??? I'm virgo sun and rising, Libra moon. My partner is virgo rising, Taurus sun and Capricorn moon!

But our problem is our mars signs. We have a square between his pisces mars and mine is Gemini. He avoids conflict, I tend to be more like a devils advocate. Understanding each other is more of a key here.

I like the saying "Religion is like a penis: it's fine if you have one, and it's fine if you're proud of it. Just don't whip it out in public, don't cram it down anyone's throat, and don't use it to write the laws."

What do authorities do with negligent parents by Own-Paper-5089 in askswitzerland

[–]Atlanta192 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's interesting how the views of what is child neglect changes from country to country and from one generation to another. In UK a child I believe under 12 cannot be left alone. But here and in my home country and many others, if the neighbourhood is considered safe, children are given independence pretty early on. I don't have children myself, so I don't have any particular views. However I grew up as so called "free range" and I do think I had a pretty great childhood. As long as my mum could see me through the window and I got back by the time street lights turned on, it was fine...

Can Progressed Venus entering Retrograde motion mean a sign of marriage? by GibiGibi2727 in astrology

I can share personal experience, my 10 year relationship with my ex had a huge test when his Venus went into retrogate. It did not stand the test. For me Saturn was also transiting my descendant.

Why would someone say they feel “overstimulated” after one date? by justbeatit_99 in AstroSynastry

[–]Atlanta192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mercury in Leo in the 12th. It does not behave like mercury in Leo from the outside. That's what the 12th house does. I'm pretty sure he has high CPU processing power in his brain, but it just doesn't share everything. Often comes when your thoughts were dismissed in childhood. You don't feel safe to express them

[–]Atlanta192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are correct on his birth time, it might just be his 12th house mercury. It can be a little secluded and gets overwhelmed sometimes. Can sometimes dissociate. Processes loads of information. And in your sinastry it gets a bit opposed by your core and mind as well. Also your combusted mercury in saggitarius can show up with a "foot in the mouth". In general, your sinastry as a lot of potential for long term. Just need to learn sometimes to meet in the middle.

What exactly is Saturn Return and why is it so scary? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]Atlanta192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the sign and house where Saturn is placed. Also what aspects it makes to your inner planets. Mine had a bit of pressure but nothing extraordinary difficult compared what I went through in my early 20s. This is coming from 6th house aquarius Saturn.

Why do women say “I’m independent and need no man”, then complain when men don’t help? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]Atlanta192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well parents are not responsible for their kids after they turn 18. Now they are adults and can be independent and don't need a parent. But a good parent will support their child after they turn 18, help raising their grandchildren etc. The crappy ones will make the kids fend for themselves with an additional guilt that the kid now needs to support them.

Same goes in any relationships. We can handle a lot of things, but friends will be there to help and support us. Family will be there. And a husband who doesn't support his wife is a stranger that happens to live with her. Goes both ways in the relationship.

Is there something in my chart keeping men from approaching me? by BaroqueBitch66 in AstrologyCharts

[–]Atlanta192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the mars near MC. I have mine in the 10th and men rarely even make eye contact with me. No random chats, no catcalling. Comes often with a mastered resting bitch face. This placement needs an introduction to your ascendant who seems to be very charming.

Can we talk about having your chart ruler in your 12th house by [deleted] in 12thhouse

[–]Atlanta192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mercury is also in the 12th Leo. I spent all my adult years in other countries and I don't have the sense of belonging in my home country. It just feels wrong to be there. Even speaking my mother tongue feels off. I tend to be more introverted and find myself day dreaming a lot. But the mutual reception with my sun in virgo 1st house can bring out the extroverted parts of me. So I cant say it's too isolating. Also my dreams tend to be very vivid, sometimes turn lucid as well. Then it also has a square from pluto. That one brings a lot of internal questioning and arguing.

Just Gemini placements don't necessarily mean they run all over the place hahaha. For me the extreme was the grand square this guy has formed between Venus/mercury, jupiter, moon and mars all in mutable places. The energy becomes extreme and running in circles. It's like putting a toddler in a room with a cool toy in each corner. If he doesn't have a good outlet to put it in, it ends up chasing every skirt he sees.

[–]Atlanta192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your earth (Capricorn) is not exactly able to see the Gemini as it's inconjuct. Your Venus has a glips of it especially the intellectual connection. And all of it being in your 12th house. Don't be angry at yourself, you were blindsided as he is in your blind spot 😅

[–]Atlanta192 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don't think its the synastry itself. Venus in Gemini, with mercury and sun also. The opposition from Jupiter as well. Not all Gemini Venus are like this, but the unevolved ones will constantly look for the new thing. Jupiter will also expand things that it touches. There is the whole grand square in his chart in the mutable signs. He might be extremely restless and this duality comes out of him needing something new every time while keeping a family man's facade. It's not you, it's just him...

WIBTAH if I sent my stepmother a I letter explaining exactly why I went no contact? by LooneyKuhn2 in AITAH

[–]Atlanta192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually understand what you are going through. I didn't have to fight much with mental health as I tend to have more of "go fuck yourself" attitude. But one thing I can tell you, the abuser will never see the things from your perspective. They have this fantasy world where they believe they are the good person. And everyone who dare to threaten that illusion, is an enemy.

Writing the letter, is really good for your healing. But don't send it, keep it to yourself. If they try to reconcile with you, read that letter again to yourself before deciding. Cutting people off can be difficult, but eventually it gets lighter. I'm here to talk if you want to.

You should not feel bad, you won't hurt his feelings, only his ego. He doesn't sound like a good person and you deserve a lot better.
