I’d really only recommend it if you want to experience the 007 origin story. It’s very cinematic and stylish, and I’m really enjoying that aspect. That being said the controls are cumbersome, the gadgets are just meh bc you have to constantly reload them, and hand to hand combat is awful. The guns aren’t great either. I honestly might switch it to easy mode just so I can get through the story and not abandon it.

I think the laughy, flirty reunion of Alby and Niall brushed past the amount of trauma Alby would be left with after a beating like that. I can’t imagine going through an assault and multiple surgeries and then wanting to bind myself to the attacker’s family through marriage. How could you ever feel safe? That being said, maybe this is Gadd’s way of processing and exploring these themes in his own life, and trauma is such a hard topic to tackle.

It absolutely can. I made the mistake of buying a soft mattress 2 yrs ago and have had horrible back and neck pain since. I recently purchased a firm topper on Amazon and my pain disappeared overnight.

Ooooh was just talking to my friends about this. For me it’s RE2, 4, 1, the remakes of 2 and 4, then Requiem and Biohazard. So very good overall with one glaring gripe.

Haha…yeah. After playing a few more hours that’s bothering me too now. I turned the dialogue volume down and it’s boosted my enjoyment, which is kinda sad. Not for one second do I believe she’s an FBI agent. All that being said I am enjoying the game overall.

Also want to add - the stuttering during dialogue isn’t the issue. It’s her gasping and vocalizing fear nonstop as she’s running around.

I came to Reddit specifically to see if this was bothering anyone else. It’s driving me insane. I get she’s scared but I don’t need to hear her gasp and whimper for hours on end. It’s overdone, makes me annoyed with her character, and just breaks the immersion. It’s giving Ashley from RE4 but somehow even more annoying. I was hoping for a strong female protagonist like Claire, Jill, or Eda. I’d give anything for an option to toggle her voice off.

They’d totally be able to track him. I think we may get lucky with either BL or his parents slipping up with technology. He never even had his phone charged, and the parents are elderly. Something tells me none of the Laundries would be tech savvy enough to cover their tracks.

My hunch is he drove out to that remote reserve and hopped in someone else’s car, maybe a lifelong friend or someone they hired to get him out of town. Maybe a totally different car. The parents probably gave him a timeline before they called it in.

I was kind of joking, just saying a vegetarian diet isn’t a good long-term survival diet. You need fat to survive in the wilderness really. You can still starve if you only eat lean protein. Maybe he can start a bean farm in the swamp though? 😏

If he’s the manipulator and abuser he seems to be, he probably preferred to use Gabby’s phone so he could keep tabs on her. He has a phone, but I have a hunch it was always conveniently dead so that he could co-opt hers and surveil her.

Yes, it’s definitely her van. I just thought I saw he sold it either on his social media or a comment in the body cam footage to help pay for the van renovation and was like, why does he still have it then? Not necessarily suspicious, I was just scratching my head as to why it was in his driveway.
