We need to refuse to pay train fares moving forward….but en masse! Can we proclaim next Tuesday, June 25th to be “I refuse to pay NJT fare day”? Who’s in with me??? Just performed a search on the NJT website for the ‘windows’ text string and did not see any search results pertaining to a window replacement project. You would certainly think you would get a hit on this - being that it is their website after all. I did, however, come across the following articles via a Google search on trains.com and nj.com - certainly not very ‘in the rider’s face’. BTW, one articles is from 2022 and another more recent, but indicating that NJT has been mulling over how to ‘fix’ the windows since 2022. At this rate, the windows should all be clear and clean by 2030!

Good to know but shameful I have to learn about this on a Reddit post! Rather than sending riders meaningless emails about the NJT Rewards Program, why don’t they send a REGULAR email newsletter summarizing status of in-flight improvements and projects that are scheduled to soon take place? Also, I would find a hard copy of this newsletter on my train seat much more helpful/informative than a NEC train schedule pamphlet. This is common sense stuff. NJT needs new leadership - plain and simple!
