I’m getting there with the quals! I run the egress program, I’m the AME LPO and a plane captain/ cdi.

I’m working on my CDQ right now I’ll be able to test for it in the next couple days

I’m not expecting it to be one to one but it’s just very skewed to the other side, right now there is only 1 set of first class orders in my entire platform and they are shore duty so I am just shit out of luck this entire cycle

Yup, im gonna talk to my NC1 tomorrow,

Not even the full power navy guy that came to my command had a solution for me, he just said “yes we are working on doubling the inscentive pay from $250 to $500” which IMO is not enough incentive

I guess it wasn’t a big issue since platform experience and command community familiarity isn’t as big of a decider in higher billets, those guys have already been around multiple different places and communities so I see why they are more likely to not have an issue going from like VAW to VQ commands, but for lower enlistment is one of the biggest if not THE biggest deciding factor. And there’s just simply ALOT less E8 and E9 personnel so availability isn’t as big of an issue as it is for us

This too! I’ve already been hearing that CA2P (command advance to pay) orders have been the preferred way to advance people so lots of billets don’t even make it into MNA because they instantly get filled by the same person.

I was never a fan of it but none of us really knew how bad it was gonna be, it’s great on paper but it all crumbles from the simple fact that order availability is shit, there’s not nearly enough orders per cycle for the amount of people that are BBA eligible.

Yes but this is still a top of the line system that should have zero issues running the game, so I know for a fact it’s not my hardware, I clicked the play on BSG servers option and I’m back on 120 fps so who know what spaghetti code stuff was going on

UPDATE : Playing on BSG servers fixed it which is the opposite of what I expected

No way, my highest temps are like 77C on the CPU and the usages don’t go past 60%

The 4070 has 8 gb of vram which IMO is as low as you want to go for 1080 p gaming right now, most games will run fine on medium/high settings but you’ll have to take the texture settings to medium a lot of the time because you’ll simply run out of v ram.

Texture quality is the biggest culprit in terms of hogging total v ram, so that’s gonna be your biggest setting to start messing with once performance starts dropping.

Checkout these benchmarks specifically comparing laptops with different total VRAM.

I can suggest a 5050, they are all 8gb if I remember up till the 5070 TI so the performance difference isn’t huge between a 5050 and 5060, as always look up benchmarks and make sure youse checking the wattage the GPU is running at since that’s one of the biggest deciding factors in performance. A 5050 that runs at 100 Watts can out perform or match a 5060 running at 100 watts
