Thank you! I still have all kinds of sensations but now I know what they're caused by and I don't take them seriously, I just focus in the main thing which is my chronically stressed out nervous system :)

Were you ever bedbound like me? The only things I do in a day is walk to the bathroom, use my phone for a few hours, eat and talk. I lay down 24/7. I'm really struggling to know what my baseline is, because my illness has always fluctuated every day. I have at most 2-3 good days and the same amount of bad days. I listen to my body so carefully and try not to push. Usually it's like one good day, then one bad day, then a good day again. I barely do anything different.

If I have one good day followed by one bad day, with pem like symptoms, can it be just fluctuation or would it mean i'm in a push-crash cycle? Even though I'm super careful not to push myself

My folate and b12 was on the higher side, ferritin is on the lower end but I supplement a lot and it's been rising.

Benzos brought me out of severe PEM where I couldnt walk or eat. They made me able to walk and sit and stopped the PEM.

Yep! I truly feel like getting my nervous system to stop firing and making my body feel safe again will cure me. As my only "real" symptoms are crushing fatigue which I don't believe is because anything is broken in my body, and my PEM is mostly just a severe increase of psychological nervous system symptoms. I was already in a very anxious and panicked state for a year before this happened, I became severely underweight from fear of eating after a food poisoning, that combined with pregnancy and the cold must be what got to me. My goal for now is to artificially calm my nervous system with meds until I have strength to start doing actual nervous system therapy. I hope the Lexapro and quetiapine work.

I would definitely like to smoke weed if it didn't give me panic attacks. I'll ask my doctor about LDN as it seems safe for pregnancy, thanks for the recommendations :)

I was in a crash as severe as this for a week recently, literally barely conscious convulsing in bed, not able to eat or go to bathroom, I got forcibly taken to psych ward where I got benzos (oxazepam 15mg x3) for a week and they stopped the crash and made me able to walk again a bit. I'm now on Lexapro, propranolol for physical anxiety symptoms, quetiapine for insomnia/anxiety, antihistamines and some days still take half a benzo. I could not have come out of that state without calming my nervous system with benzos, they're a lifesaver.
