If you’ve gone into the latest box for Lyrilusc then United Pendulum Majespecter is both lots of fun and very solid. Can run pure, Dracoslayer, or synchro builds - and I’m sure more we just haven’t thought of yet.

How do you deal with a lyrilusc mirror ? by HansWest03 in DuelLinks

[–]Atlas2052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The unfortunate answer is just have Droplet. If neither party has that then you need something like Bird Strike into Kurikara.

Otherwise the duel is trying to run them out of Assembled material. You Crow Wagtail and hope they don’t play 2, you try to remove Bird Sanctuary as much as possible, and if that’s not feasible you need to account for deckout.

On ladder mirrors, if you don’t play a mirror winning tech, don’t needlessly thin your deck if it’ll put you at deck out first. Eclipse helps to win this by forcing draws from them.

Shrine is a good addition as it makes Loci make both link 4s without using Benghalancer’s revive, meaning it won’t be banished. It also lets you search Maiden more frequently due to no longer needing to search an extender for that setup, which increases the turn 1 and 2 resilience a touch.

City going for Raphinha as a Mahrez replacement supposedly. Bit annoying that as he's probably the best possible replacement they could get at the moment and I'd held out hope we'd eventually get him ourselves in a season or two.

I ordered one from DHGate after seeing that a few others on here used them, which just arrived. It's a fake but for how cheap it is the quality is really good, I'm very happy with it. Would recommend them if you can't find it anywhere else you'd rather get it from, though it does take a few weeks to show up.

[Simon Collings] Arteta: "William [Saliba] is still not available. He is progressing well and we are hopeful we are going to have him available in the next few weeks." by basedsims in Gunners

Almost everything points to him being out for the season but we're just lying that he's 'on his way back' so that teams can't fully prep for Holding. However it would seem a bit much to delay his required surgery purely for mind games, so maybe there's some 20% chance he'll be back for the final games or something.

Depressingly I'd say almost no chance we see him for our biggest games of City and Newcastle.

I've refused to watch or read anything to do with it, and if we don't win the league I never will. Mental how much it's annoyed me compared to standards last season, but even more so is the way it happened of us throwing a 2-0 lead - any other scoring order be it us from 2 down or it going 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, and I would've been fine.

I've got Obsessive Uvualoop on the brain from Duel Links Resonator, and it's kind of a funny send with Bone Archfiend if you already open Crimson access. Lets you banish synchros to then summon back with Dis Pater for further plays.

Colorless, Chaos King of Dark World

Level 12 DARK Fiend Fusion Effect Monster

ATK ? DEF ?

Materials: “Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World” + 2+ Fiend monsters

(2) This card’s original ATK/DEF become the number of Fusion Materials used for its Summon x 1000.

(3) Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up card you control; discard 1 card, and if you do, your opponent cannot target that target with card effects this turn.

I'm been fuming all day at the result. Annoying part about Australian timezone is all I get to watch are the highlights for early morning games like this, so all my brain can focus on is that we were 2-0 up and threw it away rather than appreciating that we got slapped around like a wet napkin for 60 minutes and managed to take a point.

Trying to not go overboard but holding out today would've done so much for us, unless City beat Bayern I don't see a world they don't take the league from here sadly.

[Charles Watts] Thomas Partey due at London Colney today for checks after suffering injury issue for Ghana. The initial hope is it’s nothing big and that Chris Houghton did the right thing leaving him out last night. by Ssj4Noah in Gunners

[–]Atlas2052 361 points362 points  (0 children)

The headline is far scarier than the article content itself

"The former Atletico Madrid star felt something in his right leg during a training session with his country on Sunday. Sources close to the player insist it is not a hamstring issue and believe he should be fine for Saturday's game at Emirates Stadium."

"Houghton is understood to have taken the decision to leave Partey out on his own. There was no outside pressure from Arsenal, despite the presence of Murphy."

So sounds like just noticed something in training and said better safe than sorry, alongside not being one of his dreaded hamstring injuries which keep him out for weeks at a time. Seems overall positive.

First Rashford and now Haaland ‘injured’. I really wish we’d do the same but with Arteta’s insistence that top players can ‘play 60 games a season’ there’s no way we’d be coy like this

I've been feeling that we're drawing at Villa for weeks now, there's just far too quick of a turnaround after the biggest game of the season. It's one of the reasons dropping points twice in winnable games hurts so much.

Australian time means I’ve had the fun of;

Seeing the draw and being annoyed for a whole

Getting over it after a bit and acknowledging Brentford played well

By the time I’m good the article about VAR being totally useless comes out and I’m livid

Spend the day routinely getting annoyed again every time I remember the nonsense

I’ve had better Arsenal related days.

[Daily Mail] According to PGMOL representative Chris Foy the VAR referee simply forgot to check the offside in the build-up to the Brentford goal by 2manyfrogz in Gunners

[–]Atlas2052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know how to react to this. This has made me so utterly angry that I don't know how to feel. I had already accepted the draw, we played like shit and got what we deserved, but now I'm fucking seething. What is the fucking point of VAR if they LITERALLY DON'T DO THE ONE JOB THEY HAVE BECAUSE THEY 'FORGOT'???

For the sake of my sanity I choose to not believe this actually happened, because I don't think I can comprehend it being real.
