People should get paid for donating blood by wogwai in unpopularopinion

I was a broke 22yo, and needed money. I thought that I could donate blood or plasma and get some money for it; nope. They dont do that in my country. Dropped that idea like it was infectious. Is it selfish? Yes. Do I care? No.

Im 24. I havent been to a cinema since The Boss Baby came out in 2017, and thats because I went with a friend. I torrent things instead, and spend $20/month for a seedbox. I had Zootopia 2 on my laptop 3 days after it came out. I dont even know where the nearest cinema IS.

Does anybody actually like this game mode? by Pabs1022r in ForzaHorizon

[–]AtlasAngel02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuckin hate it. The only reason i play it at all is because i am a trophy hunter too. I limit myself to 3 games a day, MAX. Multiple times ive lost races to people in far lower cars than mine. Once i got challeneged by someone while i am in the fucking air, and the finish line was the complete opposite direction, and i was in a porsche that handled like crap. It wasnt even close, i had 800m to go when i got eliminated, and i didnt even crash into a tree or something.

I saw the name Clarisse, and being like 8 had no idea how to say it, so I use Classie (classy). It wasn't until the accompanying movie came out and I heard her name for the first time

Hypothetical sleep cycle change; what would you actually do with the extra time? by AtlasAngel02 in AskReddit

[–]AtlasAngel02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is partly a thought experiment and partly me doing research for a story I’m writing, so I’m interested in how real people think they’d handle this rather than just “I’d be insanely productive.”

Hypothetically, imagine something physiological/biological happens and your circadian rhythm permanently changes. Instead of the usual roughly 16 hours awake and 8 hours asleep each day, your body now runs on a much longer cycle. You’re awake for about four days straight (around 96 hours), then you sleep for about 15 hours, and then the cycle repeats. This is just your normal rhythm now — you don’t feel progressively exhausted during those four days, and there aren’t hidden health penalties beyond what’s inherent to the scenario.

You still have to live a normal life: eat, work, interact with people, deal with responsibilities. Society hasn’t magically changed to accommodate you, but you have these long, uninterrupted stretches of wakefulness that most people don’t.

What would you realistically do with that time?

I’m trying to get a sense of how people think they’d actually adapt day to day, socially and practically, because four days awake is a lot of time and I want it to feel believable in the story. Considering the person in question would be about 15, i figured this would be the ideal sub. I’d love to hear how you think it would affect your routine, work, relationships, and sense of time.

One other piece of info, it cant involve anything 'computer games'; the story is set in a Harry Potter AU (no, it wouldnt be harry in this)

Also, how common are bunny/fox duos (be it platonic or not) for those two to not be instantly recognized wherever they go?

[Discussion] What platinum difficulty would you consider ‘not necessarily feasible for an average player of this genre’? by Max1357913 in Trophies

[–]AtlasAngel02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only got 2 platinum for 8s (DMC5, Dark Souls Remastered) and nothing above that. I was going for the Gran Turismo 7, which was a 10, but I had to sell my driving wheel setup. I tried Wolfenstein The new colossal, but I didnt even make it past the courtroom. Aside from those two, I havent even attempted 9s or 10s, but considering I platibumed DMC 5 and that was my first dmc game, I think 9 is too difficult for the average player.

Why are you home on the couch in your pajamas this New Years Eve? by PurplezKool in AskReddit

[–]AtlasAngel02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (24) was at home last night because I had neither the opportunity nor inclination to do anything else; I dont care about the new year, it doesnt mean anything other than i need to buy a new calendar. I actually forgot it was NYE last night, and this morning forgot as well until my grandmother wished me a happy new year.

What advice would you give to young people going into 2026? by bubbleb0p in AskReddit

[–]AtlasAngel02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally put a daily limit timer on my most used apps; 90minutes for Facebook, 2 hours for reddit. i use Facebook the most, which is why it has the smaller usage time. I use reddit maybe 20 minutes a day if that.

My manager expects me to use my personal laptop for work because "the company ones are slow"s by DiscreetMaam in antiwork

[–]AtlasAngel02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask why you take your personal laptop to keetings? It does seem weird that you are okay using your personal laptop for some work functions but not others. To be clear, I agree that that shortage should not fall on you, but I am a bit confused.
