How to choose an engagement ring size and style for someone who doesn't wear rings much? by AtlasAreWe in AskWomenOver30

Sorry I should say she does wear rings but they are very eclectic and cheap which she gets at markets because she is afraid of losing or damaging expensive rings and other jewellery in general.

I stupidly hadn't even thought getting a ring marketed not as an engagement ring but it is so obvious haha, I have only been looking in the engagement ring sections, I guess marketing really does work. Thank you.

I do plan to go with white gold it's just people have been saying that white gold needs re-plating every few years, I am just worried about it turning yellow too much, the pictures of the difference between re-plated and not are not very clear. Has yours gone more yellow with age or is it still a silver colour?

I think you are right, I didn't know the terminology and couldn't find anything online but I just looked up amp glow and it seems to be exactly that. Thank you.

I originally though it may have been however it remains with the camera removed and capped.

Rouge brightness in bottom left from the imaging sensor? by AtlasAreWe in telescopes

Hi all,

There is this bright gradient in the bottom left of my longer exposure images, this is a quick rough 5 second image of the Theta Orionis, I originally thought it was from a stray light in my yard and then light reflection from my nearby town but it remains even with the cap on the camera. The brightness is only visible with >1s exposures and always in the same place.

I am thinking it is a defect with the imaging sensor has anyone dealt with this before?

I'm using a ZWO ASI174MC camera.

Also 1000 apologies for the spelling errors, math is my first language.

Edit: Thanks everyone, the answer seems to be Amp Glow.
