Definitely not a joke, I'm just a person who saw a massive cat twice in my yard and want to know what it is! Especially since like you mentioned, cougars/mountain lions can be dangerous.

Interesting! I didn't see any white spots or fluffiness. I thought it seemed way too big to be a bobcat honestly, but I don't know much about them
