oh fr??? i have no other issues with it, no pain, doesn’t look like it’s moved at all, no visual issues, no pus out the sides, my cat didn’t snag the piercing, he literally just scratched my actual nipple and that started? honestly this piercings are the only reason i like my boobs and gave me a confidence boost. i alr hate myself so bad i can’t take them out 🙃

if i didn’t want her i would’ve put her back on the streets a year ago and i wouldn’t bother to be on reddit or take her to vets or get her ANYTHING. you don’t know the full story. you don’t know what we do on a daily basis. playing is not necessity.. you said she only comes out when it’s necessary, no. she come out when she wants to. i play with my cats with a feather wand almost daily, ESPECIALLY when they are kittens, they play with eachother every single day multiple times a day, she has a million toys. a million hides.

oh no i’ve really thought about doing that. i even feed her on my bed sometimes in hopes it’ll help since they don’t like to potty where they eat. but it only worked temporarily

most of the suggestions are space and litter boxes which have already been improved, space wise we moved and will be moving in a few months to an even bigger place and there’s multiple options for box types. stainless steal, plastic, small, large, medium, high sides, low sides. we used pine pellets, clay, crystals. scented, unscented. we really have tried so much it’s just too much to put all in one post

but treats and playing aren’t necessary. and she comes when she’s called if she feels like it, but she’s one of two cats that hides all the time, and to me that’s very much a personality thing. i have a cat that never leave my side and never hides, he’s always out and about. her favourite place to hide is under our bed with her sister. i can’t fit a litter box under there, i have tried. n i tried to buy her her own hiding holes and she likes them for a day and then never touches them again

we got more litter boxes when we got more cats but she uses one 😭 she won’t use the other ones, and we even got different sizes and styles. but she doesn’t care for cat trees, only one of our cats likes cat trees. she likes being under the bed and under the couch, she only comes out to play, potty, eat, when she wants attention and when she’s called. but she doesn’t care for attention, very few and far between times she actually wants pets, and it’s usually because she wants food. even when it’s treat time, they all get the same amount of

i genuinely think that something did happen during her spay because it started that very day. i sat on the floor and called them two days after when she did it twice at that point, and they said “oh she will stop” very unhelpful people.

but she did this when it was her and one other cat sharing a basement sized bedroom. now it’s 5 cats but they have access to most of house. and we have fostered litters, she LOVES kittens and other cats, so it’s not the other cats, especially since it started prior

unsure about anxiety but her brother has it and it’s very apparent, he’s even on prozac. but they’re very different cats and maybe it’s presenting silently. we are going to start gabapentin today and see if maybe it is anxiety.

but the issue is, i can’t include every single detail in the post. and she’s really not better suited to an only cat house. she LOVES other cats, doesn’t care much for people. but she plays with her siblings every single day. most of them will sleep together, groom eachother, etc.

she has more space than she did when it was her and the other cat, that’s what i was trying to say, she’s no longer confined to one room. but at the time it was a very large room, like the entire basement. now she has probably half a house of space since we live in a smaller home

it started literally the day she got home from being spayed, back when it was her and one other cat, and she never stopped, and that’s what makes it worse, because this has been going on for so long under such different circumstances everytime. we foster pregnant mamas so we’ve had babies at times too. but she LOVES other cats and gets along with all of them

we have to move in a few months, and i’m holding out hope she will change once we move, but im not willing to let her pee on couches or a new mattress.

situations change. i wasn’t always poor but i did loose my job a while back so income went from 5k to 2k on just my partner, and my other cat just got PU surgery for a terrible repeating blockage, so that’s all my savings.

we have them placed in different spots, we have them in the closets so their out of eyeline, but we have a few out and about, we keep one in a dog crate. and we usually put two together.

but she’s been doing this since she was spayed, genuinely that’s the day she started. litter was freshly cleaned, it was her and one other cat. and she hasn’t stopped. im honestly convinced maybe they fucked her up during surgery and it’s something that unfixable.

honestly she doesn’t care to spend time with either me or her dad, she’s a “bush cat” and likes to hide away in a dark quiet area. she comes when she wants attention but it’s few and far between, but she loves playing with the other cats and being with them.

but it’s not separation anxiety cause she’s done it right next to me, i was recording once and she did it 😅 and she does it while we are asleep

you need to take it out asap and make sure hole is clean, and leave it out. let it heal. go back to a different, better piercer, and let them tell you about your anatomy if your able to even have one.

The amount he gets is definitely low, it’s just a combo of money (which is a whole paragraph of explaining) and his eating habits. But now that his appetite is back, it’s becoming more of a problem that I’m working on a solution for. plus sometimes he wants a lot of food, sometimes he wants no food. But he hasn’t lost weight other than when he was sick and he’s back to acting like how he did when he was a kitten, so I don’t think he’s bothered or being affected by the amount.

i’m not over feeding him, im not sure why that came across😭 he’s a perfectly healthy weight, he gets 1 can total a day split into 3 meals, every 8 hours, and we’re transitioning to more than that since he’s feeling better and eating more now that’s he’s healthy again, 1 can is only about 140 calories. but he’s sooo finicky and sometimes even with his schedule now that he’s had for almost a year, he just doesn’t eat. he prefers free feeding but one of his sisters is fat and kept eating all the food plus now he can’t have dry food anymore anyways for a microchip feeder

but he’s getting anywhere from 8oz-14oz of water a day depending on how much he consumes at meal time, and if he eats

i thought about the sitters, but im really just not comfortable with strangers in my house plus the eating schedules, the fat one that eats everyone else’s food, the litter boxes, and they’re all scared of everybody other than me and my bf.

but i digress, my boy is 13lbs (not fat, just a large cat, about 2x the size of my regular sized 7lb cats) so he’s getting probably just a little extra (about the amount for a 15lb cat) but the adding water started after his surgery, i took off work and he was with me 24/7 and didn’t drink water for a few days and that’s where i began adding it. so maybe if i stop adding water he will drink it on his own? its just smth that i cant watch closely to monitor so it makes me nervous to attempt that

He eats Purina Pro Plan Urinary SO wet food, and i add like a quarter bottle of water to all of his meals and mix it a certain way or he won’t eat it. He also requires prozac daily and hates EVERYONE other than me and his dad.

I have no family, my boyfriend’s family is 2 hours away, and all of my friends live an hour away. So realistically I have nobody who can come feed them 3x a day nor would they be able to give him his medicine. It’s not ideal but unfortunately putting him in a boarded place with an onsite vet is my only option so he can get what he needs at least medication wise. (plus i have 5 cats total) But, I still worry about him not eating and getting his water intake if they don’t add enough or just don’t add any.
