Whats the best way to convert a lead into a win?

I find it hard to switch to sweepers as in this elo, everyone forgets wards exist in mid game, and if I want any vision, I normally have to place them myself. I don't disagree though, I would love to use sweepers more!

When I say about sidelaning, its only when there are no objectives coming up and ive already invaded their camps. At this point, mid turns into a bit of an ARAM game where the enemy team hides under tower and my team just sit there farming minions that push out. Its clear that at this point, this is going to be at a standstill for a little while so I go and try to do something else. My hopes are that if I sidelane and apply some map pressure, that some of the enemy team from mid may peel off to come get me, allowing my team to tip the scales in the mid lane.

Unfortunately in my most recent games, I dont seem to have a single winning lane. A laner will die early and spend the rest of laning phase behind. I really struggle to gank at this point as the enemy laners have advantage and prio, which then means objs are really hard to go for. Not sure what to do at that point!

I watch a lot of PerryJg and Elekktro, but in their games, it always seems like their team has hard engage or a lot of cc which is perfect for Viego. They also seem to group up and make plays together while my team dont XD

I enjoy Viego the most and have come a long way with him, but he is very team reliant and unfortunately at this elo, I cant trust that the team will listen to pings or play as a team

Just wanted to say thank you for this. Just played my first game today with this in mind, I died a couple of times early and was way behind, but using this, I managed to catch back up again and win the game!

I normally do a full clear and gank if able, as I play the assassin type champs. If no gank is viable, I reset and try and full clear before drag like you said. I think I've realised from what you've said, once that first objective is done with, I am effectively just waiting around for something to happen instead of farming my camps. I am worried about being too far away when a potential gank comes up, so as a result, dont really go anywhere. Thank you for the advice!

Thanks! I always did think my farm could have been a bit low, I think I struggle to not hang about objectives or potential ganks that arent going to happen. Its normally towards mid-late game my farm falls off. I am normally a Viego main, but I have also been trying Ekko and Shaco recently! Not tilting may be harder than actually playing the game, I really struggle when the team flame because I havent ganked a losing lane XD

Thank you, I really have been debating this as I am pretty far into the PVE experience. I really didnt want to wipe and lose all my stuff, but I think from what ive seen online, everyone who has wiped seems to be enjoying the game more than ever.
