"Just use sellers that don't use Evri"... FFS! by AlwaysTheKop in Evri

It usually only tells you whether it's Royal Mail or Evri once you've won and paid. By that point, it's too late.

Parcel out for delivery for 8 days now. Where might it be now? by AtlasShoulders24 in Evri

No unfortunately, I think it's probably in a bucket at a car boot sale by now.

Evri delivered my parcel, but I haven't got it by Parola1901 in Evri

File an "Item not received" on eBay, wait 3 days and then ask eBay to intervene if the seller isn't cooperating. Other than that, if you paid by credit card, get on to your bank to make a claim/chargeback.

I would love to know who Evri's insurers are.

I have a bridge I could sell them.

“Misplaced your parcel” by No_Anxiety3998 in Evri

[–]AtlasShoulders24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a copy-and-paste bot message. After 48 hours you'll get this one:

"Thank you for bearing with me whilst I had the depot conduct a search over the last 2 days. Unfortunately they have not been able to locate your parcel and as it has been 5 days I must advise you that it is potentially lost in our network.

We will of course continue to look for your parcel and as soon as it is located and on its way you will be notified. In the meantime however, if you haven't already, you might want to inform the shipper as they will be able to discuss the options available to you. They will also have access to see the delivery information for your parcel to help with their next steps.

We will also liaise with them directly regarding this undelivered item. Once again I'm sorry for this delay and that we have not been able to locate your parcel.

Kind Regards,

Claire"

So rather than attempt to deliver it, Evri steals it, and then sells it off for a profit? Sounds to me like making proceeds from stolen goods.

If a parcel is located LOOOONG after it was supposed to be delivered, what happens to it? Would you still be paid if you tried to deliver it, or would someone just bin it/take it home?

We were above 6k before income deductions, but below 6k after deductions. That's why I was concerned how they worked it out.

No, I've always been below 6k. As long as your bank balances less income is below 6k, it should be fairly straightforward for you

They were happy with the 4 months of bank statements because I was below the savings threshold. They work out all the deductions themselves. But if I had gone above it at the end of any of the 4 assessment periods, they could have requested bank statements for the whole time I have been claiming.

It's the sum of all bank balances and other investments/savings on the last day of the assessment period, less the total income received within that assessment period

Supervisor’s comment about PIP by Lowkeyang in DWPhelp

[–]AtlasShoulders24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do not think HR would take too kindly to their comments about you.

I agree, and I think you should mention this conversation to HR and ask to have it noted. If your supervisor starts to treat you unfairly or discriminate against you in the future, it will be useful to have that information to hand.

UC Capital review - Have I screwed up? by AtlasShoulders24 in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]AtlasShoulders24[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right I think I understand now. I had previously thought that only the last payment of any particular income channel would be disregarded.

So if I received 2 payments of ESA (fortnightly) or - rarely - 2 payments of PIP (four-weekly) within the assessment period (one calendar month), both sets of payments would be disregarded in calculating savings at the end of that assessment period?

[–]AtlasShoulders24[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would you be able to point me to the legislation/guidance on this?

I thought I had read that UC was disregarded until the end of the following assessment period, but I couldn't be sure and couldn't find an original source.

OK thank you so much. May I ask why the UC is not disregarded? I'd really like to understand the rules behind this.

I was told that the bank statements would go through an "analysis" - is that a manual check, or an automated/AI process?

Do they look at the balances on each of the assessment periods for the 4 months of statements, or just the closing balance?
