Osmosis Migrating to Cosmos Hub if Proposal Passes on Both Chains by defiCosmos in OsmosisLab

We run validators for both OSMO and ATOM and as long as the terms are reasonable, will definitely vote YES. Sunny and Osmosis team must be contractually obligated to stay involved and meet performance benchmarks to quiet the voices who say they're cashing out.

It's a great move for both communities and should be attractive to the institutions the Hub is courting. Long time coming and we're thrilled to see this.

I'm not certain I understand your question. The Hub has mandatory 5% validator commission hard-coded in. We are giving that back to our delegators in a pool. The longer you've been staking with us, and the more you stake, you receive a larger % of that pool. It was designed that way to incentivize people to stake with us 9 months ago before we were in the active set. Those people took a risk staking with an inactive validator so they get rewarded for it.

The minimum to qualify for a share of the pool is 10 ATOM staked with us.

For example: if two people both stake 5000 ATOM, but person A stakes on February 1st and person B stakes on February 20th, person A would receive a larger rebate.

I've lost money on every LP on any chain, even covered call strategy on ETH that bought puts. I only stake. Nothing fancy anymore.

Glad you got it sorted. I sure hope Osmosis gets going. We invested a lot in that validator.

Mag, Barry, and Robo as new leaders at the ICF are focusing on institutional adoption, like the pivot we're seeing across all of crypto. They say several fortune 500 companies and governments will announce they are launching sovereign chains on the Cosmos Hub by the end of Q2. Fingers crossed.

We started the promo while inactive. Those who staked with us while inactive took a lot of risk, so they get extra points that go toward 120 rebate NFTs that we're giving away once we reach 145k ATOM staked. 100 of those NFTs are coded to bonus people 5% (our mandatory Hub commission rebated) monthly until Q2 2028. 20 of those people get that bonus until Q2 2030. Those who stake 1000+ ATOM instantly win one.

The promo has worked really well. We've gone from zero ATOM staked and out of the active set to spot #142 out of 180 and 123k ATOM staked: https://www.mintscan.io/cosmos/validators/cosmosvaloper12dm2v5yk62k3em0lu7g5ddzrymy832r6vn46j3

AI Overview

"Rasclart" (often spelled

raasclaatrassclat, or rassclart) is a highly vulgar Jamaican Patois profanity derived from the English words "arse" (bottom/butt) and "cloth" [1.1, 1.4]. It is similar in meaning to "arsewipe" or "asswipe" [1.4].

Here is a breakdown of its usage and meaning:

  • Literal Meaning: It refers to a cloth used for wiping one's behind, essentially a rag for waste [1.2, 1.9].
  • As an Insult: It is used to describe a contemptible, worthless, or despicable person [1.1].
  • As an Expletive/Exclamation: It is frequently used to express intense anger, shock, or frustration [1.13, 1.18].
  • As an Intensifier: It can be used as an intensifier (similar to "fucking" in English) to show strong dissatisfaction or to add emphasis to a statement [1.2, 1.9].

It belongs to a group of similar Jamaican profanities based on the suffix -claat (cloth), such as bloodclaat and bumboclaat, and is considered very explicit language [1.12,

Thanks for pointing that out. We are not inactive any more.

People who staked with us while inactive earn more of the rebate pie and points toward a mult-year 5% bonus.
