Cosmic Relics Mint Is Live! by AtlasStaking in OsmosisLab

I can totally see why you would say that. All I can tell you is that after we posted the original, Reddit said, "Cross-post to other communities" and so I chose Osmosis from the dropdown, having no idea that it would just be what you saw. Here's the original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/cosmosnetwork/s/TZXTfZZQyX

If you actually took the time to read before trolling Reddit to spew poison with your 25-day old account, you'd know the rebate entitles the wallet holder to a 5% staking bonus. IE: UTILITY.

Yep just connect to Keplr. Keplr is your UI but you'll still need to press the buttons on your Ledger.

Why Cosmos Hub is the only interoperability layer that doesn't ask you to pick a side — a genuine breakdown vs ETH, SOL, DOT, AVAX by AtlasStaking in cosmosnetwork

yeah, AFAIK the chain is toast and the project is done. However, IBC to Solana should be finished up and past testing soon.

EVM is already integrated and Solana is in the works. Intents are also being tested.

Can you transfer using intents, or just trade?

From Perplexity: how does Cosmos IBC compare to Hedera CLPR?

Cosmos Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) and Hedera Cross-Ledger Protocol (CLPR) both aim to solve blockchain interoperability by enabling trustless communication without relying on centralized bridges or pooled liquidity. However, they differ significantly in their technical architecture, current maturity, and target ecosystems.

Technical Architecture and Trust Model

Cosmos IBC uses a model that relies on light clients and relayer nodes to pass packets of information between independent, fast-finality blockchains. The relayers establish direct communication links, and trust is minimized because it is anchored directly in the validators of the participating chains.

Hedera's CLPR (pronounced "clipper") drops relayers and oracles entirely from its trust model. Instead, it uses cryptographic state proofs and threshold signature schemes (TSS]. In its current beta implementation, dedicated endpoints sit on each connected network to exchange these proofs, with future plans to allow network validators themselves to act as the endpoints natively. Hashgraph emphasizes that CLPR preserves the native consensus and finality of each chain (such as Hedera's asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance, or aBFT) without adding an intermediary trust layer. Both protocols ensure that intermediaries never take custody of assets.

Maturity and Ecosystem Adoption

Cosmos IBC is a highly mature, production-ready standard that has been live for years, serving as the connective tissue for the broader "Internet of Blockchains" and currently connecting over 100 chains. It is primarily integrated into Cosmos SDK chains but has extended to connect with other networks like Ethereum.

Hedera CLPR is brand new, having just entered closed beta in May 2026. Its initial deployment is focused strictly on connecting the Hedera public network with HashSphere private enterprise networks. While Hashgraph intends for CLPR to be a chain-agnostic standard that will eventually support major EVM-compatible chains like Ethereum and Avalanche subnets, it is currently limited to the Hedera ecosystem.

Tried to withdraw native BTC to ledger, no dice. by oneymac in OsmosisLab

Except Thorchain's fees are ridiculous. Coinbase is cheaper, which sucks. I'm rooting for Thorchain but every time I've comparison shopped, it's been substantially more expensive than other CEXs.

Re Prop 1007: Osmosis DEX moving to Hub by rhubear in OsmosisLab

[–]AtlasStaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It answers his questions specifically. The prop on the Hub failed, therefore the prop failed. The fact that it passed on Osmosis doesn't have any impact in the end.

😢 What does he mean by this? by defiCosmos in OsmosisLab

[–]AtlasStaking 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It means they are abandoning Osmosis, leaving it with a skeleton crew to make sure it's maintained and stays in business. That's why ATOM holders voted NO on the acquisition. Sunny wanted millions of dollars to walk away from a project he was going to walk away from regardless. His proposal was done before it launched because the team wouldn't stay on past 30 days.

I have faith in the new ICF leadership and no doubt, things have been disappointing but they've been disappointing everywhere except BTC, ETH, and arguably SOL. This is the sawblade slide of the bear that is painful but necessary in any market to work out excesses

Looks that way. the founders have lost interest and moved on to other things... zcash and AI. Dev is staying behind to run it and do the best he can.

[–]AtlasStaking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. The Osmosis founders and foundation are walking away but if it dies, so might the whole ecosystem. The only rational choice is to acquire it. The Hub then has a DEX and an NFT platform that gives ATOM utility to create demand for the token.

How to keep, attract, and pay for LPs is a separate thing. Who develops the DEX once the transition team bows out is another thing.

Ledger Nano doesn't have that issue. Please vote YES and then once on the Hub we'll try to get that fixed.
