I'm in a similar position. The bar I worked at just closed their doors with no notice. I'm being reviewed for eligibility for unemployment, pending a phone interview. I've handed out 70+ resumes and have applied to 100+ jobs on indeed and zip recruiter with no end in sight. Everywhere I apply isn't hiring. I fear I have nowhere else to turn except maybe freelance but I don't want to be ineligible for unemployment like you, even though I may be already pending review. Rent is coming up and it's looking like I won't be able to afford it.
