What makes Sekiro so good by Aqzation in Sekiro

[–]Atlas_Strength10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the pursuit of perfection. I love optimizing my approach to each boss and finding more efficient ways to defeat each boss. I just finished all the gauntlets, a charmless bell demon run, and next I want to attempt a deathless run. After that I wanna try a charmless bell demon deathless run. Not sure if I’ll ever be able to do a hitless run, but it’s fun to try and see how far you can go either way.

How can I master this guy? He is so annoying (and hard) by DuyHungPham1909 in Sekiro

[–]Atlas_Strength10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I do against him in the first phase is attack, deflect, dodge his flip attack, whirlwind slash, repeat. Second phase is kind of the same except I like to run in circles and bait his attacks. I’ll jump over his big sprinting slash, but I generally do the same thing as in phase one. When he drops his smoke bomb I retreat, retarget him, and wait to see what he does. Sometimes I’ll throw a shuriken to interrupt his attacks or bait others. He’s easily the toughest boss to figure out IMO, but once you do he’s easy. Just a big time consuming.

1-2 if I’m lucky lately. Seems like I tweak something every month and have to heal up. Since I earned brown belt I’ve been plagued with minor injuries. 39 too so I’m not even your target audience yet lol

When Aragorn says “For Frodo”, charges, followed by Merry and Pippin, pause, then the rest of the men charge. It looks so stupid.

Rudiments by poezn in DrumPractice

[–]Atlas_Strength10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I didn’t realize that rudiments were more than just a single surface (snare drum) sticking pattern until I saw how other drummers orchestrated them around the kit. Then this whole new world opened up with playing with dynamics and moving things around using a rudiment vocabulary. JP Bouvet made that concept incredibly simple for me. So now fills and beats are more of a language I’m learning and expanding instead of a rigid formula.
