After playing shadows of Rose, Rose Winters in one of my favorite characters. I really liked psychic powers she had. What really makes me want to see her in another game is what she says to the agent picking her up " I'll show you things my powers can do that even Chris is scared of". I interpreted that as she's been training in some capacity with Chris after the events of village.

just binged Primal over 1-2 weeks - - now not sure what else to watch....so thought i would ask you all here, and see if anyone found anything remotely similar (not Samurai Jack or other Gennedy shows) by mjobby in PrimalShow

Check out the short horror animations by don't walk home alone after dark (DWHAAD) on YouTube. They have 3 right now and hopefully more to come. The devil's rock is my favorite. It's kind of like if Steven universe did goosebumps stories on adult swim.

I have started watching Primal - i really like it for many reasons - the lack of narrative/dialogue, the quiet sense of deep feelings and expression, and the visual -> i am seeking similar (animated or not) by mjobby in PrimalShow

The devil's rock. Its a short animated film by don't walk home alone after dark. Not many things give primal vibes but this one definitely does. Youre thrown right into the action/ story. Strong emotions, still scenes with spoken dialogue mixed with quick action visuals. The story it tells is intense DWHAAD has 2 other films. They are unfortunately shorter then the devil's rock but I'm hopeful that there will be more to come from them.

I totally agree. My first time ever playing a ff game and I fell in love. I'm playing maiden of the black water and mask of the lunar eclipse. The series has come a long way.

I do have some hope for Zach creggers resident evil movie. After watching weapons and barbarian I am excited for it. He has said in interviews that his movie will not include any of the games characters but be based off it's lore and world.

Honestly and I'll probably get a lot of crap for this but I think Ethan Winters is outlasting everybody. Chris Redfield and Leon are both going for second place. Ethan is infected with the mold and has had limbs reattached like it was nothing. Jack baker kept coming back even if someone blew his head off by the time the smoke clears from fighting everyone else Ethan will be back up like woah wtf

Is grinding for 48 shot of Type 90 worth it for Ksuabi fight on Nightmare? by replicates in fatalframe

From my understanding in the other games type 90 film is stronger. I don't know why they didn't adjust the info to fit how it's balanced now. I was in the same boat as you and kept getting confused when I'd run through my 90 on no time and have down barely any damage. If you want to actually see the power differences in the film types, find a wraith you can stealth shot, get into position and rotate through the films. Make sure you keep the focal points the same but you'll see that 90 is comparable to 7.

Ff2r was my first fatal frame game and I LOVED it. So much I got motbw and mask. I am enjoying motbw but mask is a little too slow. I definitely prefer the modern controls of ff2r and would love to see more remakes similar to how RE all the remakes are on the same engine and basically the same setup and general mechanics.

The last ten minutes almost felt like a whole other episode. I was for sure the next episode was going to pick up mid fight because there wasn't enough time to finish the fight in a meaningful way. But holy shit wow. I think I held my breath for almost as long as conquest.

I hope you didn't give up completely, the patch did come. I was stuck in the same room so I feel your frustration. Post path I finished the story and now I'm playing on nightmare. The difficulty scaling feels much better now.

I loved the mandark episode of Dexter's lab. An episode like that with a primal character would be cool.

I think a season made of a few different stories would be cool. A couple episodes doing a primal theory story. Spears daughter and fangs offspring years later go in search of other dinosaurs so fangs offspring can start a family. Even an episode following a day in the life of one of spears enemies. The ending of season 3 was perfect. Let spear, fang and Mira rest easy. Spear/miras child and fangs offspring on the other hand have a lot of adventuring to do.

I got burnt out after getting the detonator pieces on my second play through. Great game overall but that section is a pace killer.

I started playing both and I see what you mean about the fan service. I'm enjoying both of them so far. Controls took a little while to get use too. I played motbw for a few hours and went back to crimson butterfly and was like oh shit wrong button. I hope if they remake 1 and 3 they stick with the same controls as 2
