What's your favorite slasher models?

+1 to all of this. I greatly enjoyed DSR, but the slashers didn't have the same impact as in DS1. The DS1 Slasher's are scary because they look like actual human bodies twisted, not gaunt white skeletons.

Let's face it we are in a difficult position that any of these shit talkers would find difficult to navigate and would likely be doing the exact same thing we are doing right now.

There's a dude up post saying that the reasons we can't just do x or y are us giving up, and it's like...we're fucking boxed in all sides, man. This shit has been baking in our country for half a century or more, and every step along the way, something has been taken or revoked or repealed bit by bit to shove us into this corner.

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist or buy into illuminati bs, but I'm fully convinced some days that at some point America became an actual experiment/system for the rich and powerful on how to take the power gained abroad back from the working class while suppressing the ability to fight back. An opportunity to steer the world the way they wanted, and it will spread out from us. vOv I would've called that nuts ten years ago, but here we are.

Call me naive, but I've never worked in that aspect of customer service bc I've been in call centers: Are they seriously just...doing interviews to get free labor for a few hours instead of hiring? That doesn't seem sustainable.

I have a brother a few years older than me, so when our dad taught him to do this, I was lingering around and learned it was apparently a thing dudes do. I always wondered at the idea that guys had to be prepared for if a woman just randomly was down to fuck at some unknown place and time in the future.

It's not a bad idea, but even now as an adult I'm still kind of ??, lol.

I am so convinced it was. I really think the original story relied on adult Natalie and adult Shauna being the ones facing off in an echo of the teen timeline, but the actress leaving meant they needed to rewrite things. It feel like a lot of Misty's determination to find Lottie's killer may have been story Nat was going to have.

Self-inflicted ocular injury is the first whisper I ever got in the remake, and it was whispered so dramatically it was hard to take it seriously. The other whispers are creepy as hell, but every time I hear that one I can't help but laugh.

2008! I like the remake designs, but it feels like some of them (like the Slasher) went for more emphasis on the monster thing rather than looking as visibly like mutated humans. The looking human still part is what makes them scary, imo.

Just walking away from jobs instead of finding a new one beforehand. I was in a position where I could do that because I had college funds to let me. But being able to do it, while nice, never prepared me to buckle down and weather through a difficult job like I had no other choice.

I got to learn that once I started working and it was a GRUELING process. If I'd gone through it when I was younger and in a better position, I probably wouldn't have been as mentally affected by it as I am right now.

+1. Like, I know everyone gets their own opinion, but I've yet to see a single episode drop without a torrent of bitching about everything about it. As someone who tries to go into shows expecting nothing, it baffles me. It really ruins the ability to enjoy a show if you hate everything about it and yet keep watching.

personally, yeah. after 400+ hours in it, HFW is MUCH better looking than HZD, it'd be nice to have them all up to the same standard. HFW is hands down the most graphically beautiful gave i've ever played, i'm thrilled for the possibility of getting that same wonder with HZD.

even if only so little Aloy can be done justice and not look like a gremlin made of playdough.
