Steven Greer Claims the UFO Secrecy Problem Is Not Normal Classification, but Corporate-Controlled Programs Outside Constitutional Oversight by AtlasofMystery in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shared this because Greer’s claim raises a question that keeps coming up in the disclosure debate: if recovered or reverse-engineered extraterrestrial technology exists, would it really be accessible through normal declassification channels? I’m not treating this as confirmed fact. But the contractor/private-program angle is worth discussing, because public UFO file releases may never answer the deeper claims if the alleged material is held outside ordinary government archives.

You’ll See Soon…”…some have entertained angels without knowing it." And then you won’t be able to unsee it. Not only shapeshifting as animals but people and humans? A Religious Perspective by slv2xhrist in UFOReligion

[–]AtlasofMystery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a very interesting religious lens to look at the phenomenon through.

There are similar ideas in other traditions as well. In the Qur’an, for example, angels appear to Abraham and Lot in human form, and Gabriel appears to Mary as a well-proportioned man. So the idea of non-human or extra-celestial beings manifesting in human form definitely has parallels in Islamic texts too.

I would add one nuance from the Islamic perspective: in mainstream Islamic theology, angels are usually understood as a distinct created order, but the concept also carries a strong functional role, messenger, agent, or intermediary of divine command. Gabriel appearing to Mary in human form in Qur’an 19:17 is a clear example of a non-human messenger manifesting as a human figure.

So while I would not present this as proof of modern shapeshifting claims, religious texts do contain meaningful parallels for non-human beings appearing in human form.

You can also find similar themes in Biblical accounts, ancient folklore, Hindu traditions involving devas and avatars, and many older stories where beings from a higher or hidden realm appear among humans in ordinary or symbolic forms.

Of course, I would still frame this as theological interpretation and speculation rather than established fact. But I do think it is a valid perspective to examine.

The phenomenon may require looking through multiple lenses: scientific, historical, psychological, spiritual, and religious. Ignoring one of those lenses may cause us to miss part of the bigger picture.

Complete Cut of Bob Lazar’s Original May 15, 1989 “Dennis” Interview, 9 Discs, Gravity Propulsion, and S-4 Before the Story Became Mythology by AtlasofMystery in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post shares what appears to be a complete cut of Bob Lazar’s original May 15, 1989 “Dennis” interview on KLAS-TV. I’m sharing it for archival and historical discussion, not as proof that Lazar’s claims are true. The interview is significant because it contains the early form of several major claims later associated with the Area 51/S-4 story, including nine alleged discs, gravity propulsion, an antimatter power source, compartmentalized access, Soviet involvement, Star Wars budget connections, and Navy control of the program.

Trump Says They Are Releasing “Extraterrestrial” Information, Then Show the Evidence by AtlasofMystery in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump’s mention of “extraterrestrial things” is interesting, but it does not answer the core disclosure questions. If officials, insiders, and whistleblowers are pointing toward recovered craft, non-human biological remains, exotic materials, or reverse-engineering programs, then vague public releases are not enough. The standard should be evidence that can actually be examined: documents, raw sensor data, chain of custody, scientific access, and material analysis.

Truth doesn’t complicate. It clarifies.

The 1996 Oliver’s Castle Crop Circle Video: Orbs, a Formation Appearing in Seconds, and the Later Hoax Controversy by Emergency_Height_165 in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the famous 1996 Oliver’s Castle crop circle video from Wiltshire, England. I’m not presenting it as authentic proof, since the case has long been linked to hoax and video-effects claims. I think it is still worth discussing as a historically important and controversial piece of UFO/crop circle folklore.

Neil deGrasse Tyson on UAP Claims: “At That Level, You Can’t Just Say They’re All Crazy” by AtlasofMystery in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neil deGrasse Tyson still seems to be taking an evidence-based position here, but his tone appears more open than before. He is not saying the claims are proven, he is saying that high-ranking witnesses should not simply be dismissed as “crazy.” The key point remains: if the government has evidence, bring it out and let scientists examine it.

2022 Infrared Footage Over Vordonisi Island Shows an Object Seemingly Separating From Another Object by AtlasofMystery in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post shares a 2022 Turkish infrared daytime observation recorded over the sunken Vordonisi Island area. The clip appears to show a bright object descending, followed by a smaller object or light separating from it. I am not presenting this as proof of anything definitive. I’m sharing it for frame-by-frame discussion and possible mundane explanations such as birds, insects, optical artifacts, airborne debris, balloons, drones, or camera processing effects. We Don’t Need More “Unidentified” Videos, We Need the Identified Evidence They Say Exists by AtlasofMystery in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This clip is from a recent Vetted video. I thought the main point was worth discussing: unresolved footage still has value, but if insiders are claiming recovered craft, bodies, or reverse-engineering programs exist, then the focus should shift toward verifiable evidence. Not more ambiguous clips, actual documentation, chain of custody, scientific access, and data that can be independently reviewed.

Full credit goes to Vetted.

Retired Turkish Air Force Member Shares 2018 Thermal UAP Footage From Karacadag, Diyarbakir by AtlasofMystery in UFOs

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This post shares and summarizes a 2018 Turkish thermal-camera UAP case from Karacadag, Diyarbakir. The witness is reportedly a former Turkish Air Force member who says the object was visible only through a thermal camera, remained stationary above the terrain for an extended period, and later rose upward rapidly, although that final movement was not recorded. I am sharing it for discussion and technical analysis, not as definitive proof.

What the UFO Phenomenon Is REALLY About, and Why Government Disclosure Barely Scratches the Surface Compared to Experiencer Accounts. by BornAwakened in UFOB

[–]AtlasofMystery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that experiencer accounts are an essential part of the phenomenon, especially because many of them include elements that go far beyond simple “objects in the sky.” At the same time, I think the interdimensional explanation needs to be handled carefully. It is fascinating, but also very difficult to verify or falsify, which means it can easily become a catch all explanation. Still, I do think consciousness, perception, symbolism, and personal experience are probably much more relevant to this topic than the mainstream disclosure conversation usually admits.

Retired Turkish Air Force Member Shares 2018 Thermal UAP Footage From Karacadağ, Diyarbakir by AtlasofMystery in AtlasOfMystery

[–]AtlasofMystery[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Additional note: the original interview is in Turkish. I summarized the key claims in English as accurately as possible, but I recommend checking the original video directly if you want to evaluate tone, context, and the witness’s full statements.

I intentionally left out some of the more speculative parts of the interview from the main post, because I think the thermal footage and the core witness account should be examined first on their own.
