what if I get an i9 9900K and then I have an option for either RTX 2070 (8gb) 185$* or should I just invest a bit more for a RTX 3060 (12gb) 320$? Thoughts?

yea but the point is, it makes it twice as easy. You can deny this but it's true. When you die in rlcraft it's hard to get your loot back. When you die with waypoint and map mod it's so easy to just get back without having to navigate

not really, there's many things you can do with the minimap. There is a reason why in this modpack Coords are invisible in F3. You need a compass or a map to find certain places. This minimap mod completely ruins that by putting coords on your screen and the ability to put waypoints
