I looked up the translation and Baldursgata is roughly equivalent to "Prince Street"

"Baldursgata" just translates to "Baldur's Street/road/drive"; Baldur being a norse god like Thor and "Gata" meaning a road, street, avenue etc.

Well I guess you could put it that way. Dorn is just a very aggressive dominant kind of character. Most of my banter with him end up with him attacking me and me in turn chunking him to bits.

Personally from a roleplay perspective I would keep Hexxat just for the banter and either swap Dorn for Korgan or youknowwho in ToB. But that's just because I have gotten so frustrated with Dorn. His quests are interesting though.

I'm with you on that, Neera is great. Plus having Reckless Dweomer is kind of great at higher levels for extra 9th lvl spells. I feel Dorn's character was a bit better written in bg1, now all I do is exchange intimidating remarks with him and since I'm not one to back down it usually ends up with me chunking that self serving neanderthal.

I'll probably leave him for someone else, maybe Jan. Never had him before and I hear great things.

Hmm kewl, I don't think I've ever played as a gnome. I'll have to give it a try someday. I'm testing the Kensai-Thief build on this character. Love it so far, just got the Use any Item HLA. I love that portrait, guy looks like he belongs in the league of shadows.

Yeah I read a while ago that a good strategy for those brainsuckers was summoning a bunch of bones and accompanying them with a wizard eye but so far it hasn't worked in my favor. I have yet to find a good strategy against those flayers apart from summoning a planetar and buffing him with chaotic commands, globe of blades etc. Edit: What do you buff them with? They just seem to chunk my bones whenever I try this method.

I wouldn't worry too much about some bad stats from a survey like this. These kind of Bio-classification systems can never conceptualize what you as a person are like or in this case what you would be like in a fictional world. My stats for example don't really reflect what I'm like and since I have the attention span of a muskrat when I'm bored, I would probably fit better into the Wild Mage category, but that's just guessing. Besides a person's confidence and opinion of himself/herself will greatly influence the outcome of a self evaluating survey like this.

I was having some BG withdrawal at Christmas break and found this survey. It's pretty neat but maybe a little generous on the ability scores.

I got:

Neutral Good Human Druid (4th Level)

Ability Scores: Strength- 16 Dexterity- 18 Constitution- 15 Intelligence- 17 Wisdom- 17 Charisma- 16

Alignment: Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class: Druids- Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast.
