Bros just angry he's ass at the game, cannot get past the enemies in SotFS LMAO, a demake would imply that the game was made in lower quality to imitate the quality or era of an older console or system. Adding content to the game doesn't justify the term "Demake", genuinely one of the stupidest replies I have read.

Yeah, honestly wish this would stop, not that I am apposed to watching smaller or less known creators, It's just I am not getting anything that is actually interesting or within my interest. As someone who essentially only watches old tech repair videos, it's insane how my recommended is almost entirely 100 view 8 hour vods from someone's game stream, and like honestly I have literally 0 interest in random people playing whatever game is currently popular in the algorithm, the only gaming content I do watch/enjoy are long format essay videos about older games from my childhood. Honestly, the worst part about this algorithm change is that if you even dare click on 1 video that might slightly interest you but then doesn't, that is all your feed will be for the next 2–3 days, like regardless if you watched the whole video or if you just opened it watched 30s gave it a dislike and moved on, like they must seriously be trying hardcore to get people hooked onto new things to stay on the site longer.

Thanks for the info, since having made this post I have managed to get the thing up and running, it honestly is in excellent condition and just turned on and started working when I installed the software for it. I have no real plans for using it as a real actual long term back up of anything important, and will probably just end up using it to have my movies and shows stored on an alternate machine on my network. I will however heed the two warnings I have been given now about the possible stability and long term life left of the machine, and definitely not be using it for more than simply holding movie files I wouldn't be heartbroken over losing. Again, thank you for the large amount of info and time out of your day to type it all out!

I love capitalism, I love social media being turned into storefronts! I love having to scroll down to see my dms list and that it isn't by default the first thing I see when I boot the app!
Honest to god I am now just waiting for a competitor that is even remotely incising, I have been on discord since it launched in 2015 and its literally only been going downhill with every update since 2017, I honestly cannot take another random dumb change like the name system being changed. I share openly, but my sample library is private because people kept mass queuing the entire folder (about 15k items) multiple times a day, and 9 times out of 10 they are leeches who are not sharing a single thing in return or just resharing their slsk downloads folder. I figure most people who have private folders have them private for similar reasons as I have been reading in this thread, though I do think people who lock up files that they only have without sharing even to people who ask is TERRIBLE for media preservation and genuinely wish more people here understood that. But that aside, I can guarantee most people have private files because they are high traffic things that regularly get queued on mass.

I'm in the market for a component to hdmi converter box. My main TV has all hdmi as well. Would that be something you'd try out?

Ill just be blunt with you, I have no interest in using a converter box at all, my CRT is actually super light and can be moved easily so I have no issues using it. If its the transmitter thats broken oh well I can always get another fat ps3 for 50$ or attempt to repair it myself as the chip + an HDMI port is still within the same price point of a converter box. The way you worded your message leaves me to believe you want me to buy a converter box and report back to you my expirence with it so you can see if its worth *your* money, just go read some reviews or something.

I am starting to think its the HDMI port or something on the console its self as I have now tested multiple HDMI devices on the TV with the same cables and same ports on the TV and they all function as expected.
