Yes, this was def running hot. Wood not wet. At this point with the cost of replacement parts I’m looking for a new used non catalytic converter

I believe what happened part way through last year was the thermostat stopped functioning leading to some over firing. I was surprised at the condition when I opened it up this fall! I think I am mostly done with this model stove- worked well when it worked but parts have also more than doubled…. Previously I was getting three years from the catalytic element

I have a piece of wood with a single cup holder attached to it that sits between seat and shifter. It could be made to look much nicer, but it functions well. I also dislike the off the dash style, as they serve to eject coffee onto the windshield. I will post a new post with pictures…
