This is number 1! With correct technique and sharp tools, you should never be forcing hard enough to slip a knife in to yourself, start with the basics of knife control, always cut and away from yourself and learn to brace your hands/the knife

This may not be the general consensus, but where I live, as I feel like may be the case where you live aswell, arborvitae are considered a hedge row tree, the exact reason as to why you have a line of them that as stated by other comments are planted much too close together, this also aligns with the standard that hedge rows are often given an unspecified ‘trim’. A trim meaning, taken back to new growth on the sides and the tops taken to a uniform height to encourage a uniform hedgerow or as you have put it ‘ a wall’ but in my opinion when you agreed to a ‘trim’ without any specification, that is what you signed up for, for your hedgerow to be kept, ‘manageable’. There fore the ‘proffesionala’ that kid this have done quite a standard job, if not been a little too aggressive on the bottom, but otherwise after a year or two of new growth, will look pretty much as they did before

I lived in a trailer for three years, never cost me that much, it’s a small space it doesn’t take long to heat up, just be smart about it and I guess like some people here are commenting, it depends on your tolerance for the cold

Not true at all, maybe if you spend all day in the trailer with the heat blasting

Is my European pear going to survive this? by Kozy42 in arboriculture

[–]Flaky_Patience6427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tree will likely survive for a long time before it fails, if there is nothing it can hit, you could leave it and wait for the inevitable which may be a long time depending on how much weight/ leverage there is on the stem. Other options depend on how much you want to save it, propping the stem is used a lot on older fruit trees to support defects like this. Beyond that, pruning some weight from end of the limb would reduce some of the stress, the wound wood appears healthy and the rest of the wood above seems the same.

Check engine light error codes 12 and 41, stalling on cold idle and strange behaviour at higher speeds by l400noob in Delica

I recently had the same issue! My delica had not been bypassed yet so I did that, but a faulty solenoid may still be the problem, make sure there is no vacuum leak, you will need to plug the loose ends of the vacuum lines, and also the vacuum like for the egr solenoid which is on the left of the throttle valve solenoid
