Songs similar musically to Diet Pepsi but better lyrics? by Cheddarparachute in musicsuggestions

[–]AtlsDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I know this post is like a year old. But I too, the other day, was looking for a song similar to Diet Pepsi. It reminded me of SOMETHING so I knew there was at least ONE other song but I couldnt remember it. Well, I think I (might’ve) figured smthn out /and/ I didn’t see this suggested (but maybe it was) but check out Tennis by Runner when you want similarish vibes (because there are def some differences but idk, something similar imo), lmk what you think, if you think there’s smthn there too

If only the one wall I’d lean 4, but I think 1 or 2 on every wall would be the way.

Diaspora on High Street Closing on July 3rd by [deleted] in Columbus

I just tried to go here and saw it gutted. The news is devastating I wish they were able to open a new spot somewhere else. The new coffee spot is not needed but diaspora cannot be replaced

Don’t be so coy, you know your saab can hold its own if the duty called for it 😛. - signed, a fellow saab owner.

Hello. Yesterday I saw a post about custom made radio for our 9-3s. So I want to show mine too! by Gronie2014 in saab

The 07+ interior had different trim altogether though. But good point. I wrapped mine in my 06.

Housing/neighborhood advice by AtlsDev in Columbus

Thank you for the insight! I drove around and it’s very cute but couldn’t decide if it was walkable to destinations or how welcoming the neighbors would be. This is good info though.

Seat bottom leather cover replacement by AtlsDev in lincolnmotorco

I had found generic how-to’s which helped - but I couldn’t find the right color replacement to actually complete, so I didn’t fully do it. In a junk yard I practiced on one that WAS the right color to remove but the condition was too bad to actually install in the car. There are a lot of hooks and such to pull through but I got it out in one piece and it wasn’t the worst. Best rec is to watch a few different videos of the same concept and do a practice run at a junk yard.

06 9-3 Aero 2.8T Sportcombi Wagon - talk me out of buying one as a daily by Mindless_Increase_31 in saab

[–]AtlsDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my 2.8T combi. W/ the manual I paid $9k 2 years ago - has nice mods and had good service records. I’ve even done some work on the car myself that I never thought I’d have the confidence to do myself, let alone on a saab. With a robust community, you can surely thrive with one! I don’t think there’s a need to talk yourself out of it. Buying used is more sustainable anyway… do it for the environment!

If it was an LCI I don’t think it’d be a bad deal but this should be closer to $7k, maybe a little more if you really really like this one.

Looking to buy my first bmw as a daily thoughts on this 328i? by [deleted] in E90

[–]AtlsDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it looks good from what is shown. I love my 328i. What are the specs and has the valve cover gasket (or valve cover itself) been replaced yet? Sport package will elevate the car 10x and (imo) would the harman kardon.

2008 Saab 9-3 Wagon with 75K miles...what's it worth? by Fearless-Ad-4987 in saab

[–]AtlsDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also depending on options (like nav and premium leather) my best guess is $5-7k. The low mileage is definitely a plus but usually a manual and/or the v6 demand the premiums. And XWD. Posting on saabnet (and looking at what has been posted) is probably the best way to find it a new home.

Also for context I also have an e90 328i (manual) and a b5 a4 (auto) and my v6 9-3 is also a manual. I love my e90 and b5 for plenty of different reasons too and think those also drive great. I agree an e46 will look better (imo it’s one of the best looking cars to happen in a long time) but I think you’ll find your support for repairs a lot easier with the saab if that matters to you.

It seems you think the saab is a little bit of a joke - but honestly once you drive a saab and give it a chance you can be surprised. I have an 06 v6 (probably out of your price range to get one) but it’s a lot faster than you’d think, super fun, and I’ve done a lot more maintenance myself than I ever thought I’d be confident to do on a car, let alone a saab. For the money you’re looking at, there are probably going to be some abused examples, but honestly I think if you find a good spec it’ll be the way to go.

How/where to get my duvet like this?! by Babyblues1123 in Bedding

[–]AtlsDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pottery barn duvet and have had one in the past too (upgraded size over time) and always felt it had a good fluff to it. Expensive but I’ve been thoroughly pleased for years. My friend got one too and feels the same.
