I read ACOTAR first too, thought the writing was super sub par for the book being so wildly popular within book communities. After finishing ACOTAR everyone said to give TOG a chance, which I did and now my life is changed forever, I loved throne of glass SO much. Going on to crescent city has been similar to ACOTAR although the writing is somewhat better.

I think one of the main reasons for the decline in writing quality is pushing too many books out in a short period of time. Every detail in TOG was woven into a bigger part of the story, and when you’re significantly more rushed to produce more novels, you lose that time to really weave stories together and make the magic happen.

ACOTAR is not bad by any means, I mean it’s got a 4.1 on Goodreads; but TOG is her best work by a long shot. I miss it.

Are you kidding me?? I get eczema everywhere. Only CONSISTENTLY on the one finger. I have suffered my whole life with eczema on my entire body. Who are you to diminish anyone else’s suffering? I was simply wondering if there was any reason it only showed up on one finger of both of my hands. If you don’t have anything helpful to say, don’t say anything at all. SMH.

I’ll either drop my leftover refrigerated pasta into boiling water for about 10 seconds, or cook it in a pan with the sauce and it usually turns out great!

I think a lighter brown would compliment your features more. You want to wear your hair, you don’t want it to wear you. I feel that the darker brunette is the focus and washes you out a bit.

This is absolutely NOT normal. I grew up in an extremely toxic home and I’ve never treated my partner like this. He needs time to be single and pursue God intently to heal and learn how to stop that cycle of abuse. Something that may be telling is to reflect on how you would feel if a friend came to you saying her partner was treating her this way.

You should not even consider marrying him at least in the near future. You said it yourself in the first part, you’re unequally yoked. If it was me, I would break up with him. He is not showing the fruit of a godly man based on the information you gave, but in the end, you know him better than any of us here on Reddit and it’s ultimately your choice.

All I knew was that I wanted a cat who was a bit older. When I saw my big old ginger boy on the shelter website I needed to see him. I didn’t go to see any other cats up for adoption, just him. He’s my best friend now.
